John Mc on in the background (he’s in PA - Ridge, Brownback, Liberman, Cindy and Megan are w him). He’s sounding strong and the audience is enthusiastic :-)

This was the best I have seen McCain. His speech just now in PA was absolutely energizing. He was clever, funny, humble articulate, powerful, inspiring and spot-on in addressing the differencs between his hopeful platform and Obama's sorry one.

I wish he would have been like that more often during the race. Maybe he was saving if for a last minute knock-out punch? I don't know. But he was great!

And last night on SNL he was as good as any professional comedian! What a transformation we have seen of late, this guy has such guts that go deep down to his toes!

LATE EDITION (CNN) : Øbama interview Part 3

A lady from Cuba is asking Øbama about wealth redistribution and comparine how it hasn’t worked in Cuba, Øbama’s answer is evasive;

Øbama “all I’m talking about is going back to the tax rates under Bill Clinton”

http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/politics/2008/10/31/tsr.obama.interview.cnn?iref=videosearch

Øbama doesn’t know or won’t acknowledge there was recession at the end of Clinton’s term, Wolfe won’t correct him either

This campaign is about Blood for Oil and all that Blood is being spent by the Oilbama campaign. He is up to his ears in Blood for Oil to the tune of around $350 Million. His primary donors are huge oil men from the Iraq Saddamn gummit who are making millions from our oil shortage and need Obama to make that shortage permanent.

In my post “RezkObama” there is a direct connection between Oil for Food money launderer Auchi who became a billionaire skimming millions off the UN program and arms dealing. He helped finance Obama’s Sinate campaign through Tony Rezko and is now very likely financing his Presidential campaign along w/other ME billionaires. He was also involved w/a billionaire who was convicted of corruption in the rebuilding of Iraq’s electrical grid. These two have nearly unlimited funds to throw at this election to benefit themselves.

What do they want? They want us to leave Iraq so they can bring it back to Baathist control and to stop any exploration of our domestic oil. This will make them powerful beyond imagination. They would own the largest oil reserves in the World for their own riches. They have made their billions by fleecing the Iraqi people and w/nOilbama’s help can steal the remainder of the Iraqi people’s wealth. This whole election is about Blood for Oil. Our Blood and Iraq’s Oil.

Pray for W McCuda and Our Troops

LATE EDITION (CNN) : Panel Rollins, Brazille, Rosen, Fund

Fund is the only one that thinks it will be close, the rest think it’s Øbama’s, this is where the people will enjoy ruining their day by not giving the media what they want, because the media want it too much

I find that incredible.

To me half the time it sounds as if he is bored with the question or the person asking it almost as if it is below him to actually answer or engage in the subject.

The other half he just sounds as if he incapable of talking without script or teleprompter.

I felt this several time during the debates but unfortunately McCain did not capitalize on this and go in for the kill.

The Democrat left is very vindictive with long memories. I was more than a little surprised these past few weeks every time I have heard one of them say Obama will save us from the “failed” Reagan economic policies, and saying “trickle down” failed.

Republicans will be in control again in the future. Next time we are there, it is imperative that we work harder educating voters and driving the Democrats further down.

My goodness is this what used to be called inflamation of the brain? Snugs....I don't think so.

Bearing in mind that I know about spreadsheets/nouns and verbs than most things medical, I think you refer to a swelling of the brain which must be relieved via a drain and/or steroids.

Husband has a genuine infection of the brain, just like a pimple or boil. Yes, it sounds horrible and it is. BUT....we've both just went through four awful weeks of being totally convinced that he had a massive case of cancer which had already mestasized from the lungs (he started with pneumonia in this medical oddysey) to the brain.

Again with minimal medical knowledge (except hey, of late I'm rapidly becoming an expert on this sort of thing which is my wont), such as brain infections were very much almost unknown before the advent of MRI's and sophisticated cat scans. The human brain is pretty much protected by a happening thick skull and a tough muscle called the Dura. However, there ARE a few entries from the body to the brain and wherein husband's came from might surprise you and yet still make sense.

Husband has FIVE absesses of his brain. FIVE. Indeed, five little pus pockets that are killing him. It took one hospital admission with pneumonia, a release, and a mad wife who said not only is he still running a constant fever BUT he has lost use of his right hand and fingers and what is this all about?

Lung doc has husband get a CT of the brain. He told us that IF there's something in husband's brain that he likely has cancer of the lungs which has spread to the brain.

Ominous. Scary. Lots of tears, late wide-eyed nights. Cancer of the ....brain? Horror.

The hubs has some very bad teeth, yes he does. For years he has been nagged by wife and his mother but the hubs, he's stubborn, a typical guy...heh....and in fact wasn't bothered by his awful teeth save how they looked.

The pneumonia infection spread, if you've not already figured, from his lungs to his brain via his pathetic teeth.

Once upon a time people just...boom, died from this. Notions of pockets of pus in the brain were not known of. MRI's reveal part of our bodies that mere x-rays could only show one-dimensionally.

Understand that I've been furtively searching the internet on all of this and two things here...God Bless America for a magnificent health care system that allows me now with a re-plumbed heart, and the hubs with infected pimples in his brain, God love him. And an Internet unknown of in my very own childhood that allows access to all the knowledge about anything....ever.

The treatment for this is long and arduous so know now young couples that "for better or worse" does include that WORSE part, don't kid yourself. Insert soft wink here.

I agree that there has been a lot of polling and also agree its become almost a form of brainwashing - though I think that’s been the case in the past (the post I made above had Kerry ahead of Bush at this point in 2004) - -just more prevalent this year IMHO w the DBM being in 0bama’s corner and bloviating about the polls (whichever ones seem the worst for McPalin and best for 0bama and w/o discussing the difference in the # of Ds and Rs polled, likely v.s. registered, etc.).

Washerwoman is on FNC now - was typing the above, so didn’t catch all of it, but it was something like - race is very close, they have thousands of volunteers and paid staff on the ground, people are excited about Dem message (e.g., their GOTV is better than the Pubbies), and, when Jane said something about the polls, Deb said the only polls they care about are getting the voters to the polls to vote. Hmm, so all of a sudden she doesn’t want to discuss what the polls say.

I agree with you mostly, but we lost some fine conservatives in 2006. Rick Santorum and JD Hayworth were two stalwarts I was sorry to see lose.

One of the things that has bothered me about both Bush administrations is their decision not to fight back when attacked.

True.

Dick Cheney did campaign in his own state over the weekend

You are correct. But Wyoming should be safe for McCain/Palin, don't you think? I would guess he is just going through the motions and doing it for one last time for old times' sake.

Where else, and when else, has he (a sitting Vice-President) or Bush (a sitting President) campaigned? If either has, I haven't heard about it - and it's not like I haven't been listening.

Like I said, they couldn't even show up for their own Convention for fear of tainting all around them. That is beyond sad.

I note Bill Clinton showed up for his, though, and he is a known reprobate and felon. Yet he gets adored and mobbed by his idiot fans wherever he goes.

There is a reason for that - and that is my point. The eight year long nonstop campaign of slander, vitriol, and character assassination has succeeded beautifully.

The...infection spread...to his brain via his pathetic teeth.

I've heard of that. I've also heard of ordinary tooth infections spreading to the brain.

Prays for you and your husband.

I agree with you both.

Sarah Palin needs to expand on her thinking and concentrate on how to present herself using the available media, if McCain loses. She also needs to distance herself from what we seem to call the “neocons.” If she could align herself with people such as Art Laffer and the Chicago School for economics, people like Daniel Pipes for Mid East policy information, Patreas and others for military and foreign policy as to what works and what doesn’t, she’ll be fine. She will also continue to be a sitting state governor, but with expanded influence as she will be on all the talk shows from now on.

Sarah Palin represents conservativism and that alone is enough to make Democrats despise here and attack anything she says or does in the future.

And, should McCain win next Tuesday, Sarah Palin will be a sitting VP in four or eight years, with all the experience that office brings to bear in an election.

OT question here. Is there any talk of riots or civil unrest in Denver over this election?

The Obama people themselves are trying to build in a 10% lead across the board to cover their fear.

It’s not just a race thing they have to contend with either. Early voting shows how many Democrats and Republicans are voting, NOT HOW they are voting. Add in the Hillary PUMA supporters, the union workers who are conservative, the Jewish vote, a stronger than expected Hispanic vote, and past Reagan Democrats and nothing is cut in stone right now.

Remember what the Bradley effect meant. All the pollsters and all the pundits were wrong. Not one or two but everyone of them.

I remember a couple of years ago my friend’s son in law was warned by his dentist of the danger of an absess in his mouth in fact he would touch the tooth until he gave him a course of antibiotics and one of the things he was concerned about was infection going through the body and mentioned in very rare cases can even go to the brain.

Thanks! I hadn’t seen this one yet today.

Looks like McPalin is up in a good portion of the states, and some of the posters say to throw IA and CO in their states, too (fingers crossed and sending prayers up).

Dick Morris has said on a couple of occasions that if Bambi needs to ahead by 10% to win (don’t recall if that was state, national or both). Not sure if that’s true - but, with the PUMAs, Operation Chaos and Bradley effect, not to mention the Catholic Bishops being more vocal before an election than I can ever recall (call that the Pope Benedict effect??), I would think he’d need to be ahead by a good %.
