Until this evening I am not watching any politics on the TV unless by accident I catch a news broadcast I am watching F1 and hopefully seeing a Lewis Hamilton win.
Don’t the mods usually pick which one is the official live thread?
That sounds a great Christmas present with hopefully a clean bill of health for you both for New Year.
Yep that is another tactic that Rove could be employing I definitely think he is doing either that or frightening the stay at home Republicans/undecideds
Yet compared to Obama he is a pussycat IMHO
In this election the Bradley effect takes the form of people who won't vote for Obama because of his policies but either won't talk to polsters or lie about who they are voting for out of a justified fear of being called a racist if they dare not vote for the big O.
The only thing that has polled so far is that somewhere between 75% and 85% of the Dems are actually supporting Obama for potus. Statisticstas I have seen suggest without at least 90 % they lose every time. Either way we shall see soon.
I think the biggest shock to come out of this election will be the large number of Democrats who end up not voting for Obama. I also think other groups that the Dims and the DBM assume are on board but aren't, such as women and Hispanics.
Maybe they are reffering to the map on his website.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Tim Pawlenty, R-Minn., and Deval Patrick, D-Mass.
Blitzer “We’re out of time but I’m going to let Governor Patrick respond” [ imagine that ]
I think so too,the time is almost here.
My goodness is this what used to be called inflamation of the brain?
This needs to go viral and on the air in WV, PA, OH, etc.:

Here is a poll prediction from 2004, a year in which PUMAs and the Bradley effect weren’t potential considerations in the polls:
Final Pre-election Harris Polls 11-02-04: Too Close to Call but Kerry Makes Modest Gains

The final Harris Poll from Nov 2, 2004...
Another piece of evidence pointing to a likely Kerry victory is that online Harris Polls in these large, key states, which may well determine the Electoral College result, all show modest Kerry leads. However, all these leads are within the possible sampling error for these surveys. Assuming the forecast is correct, Kerry is likely to win all three large states, and almost certainly the White House along with it. The sample sizes were well over 1,000 likely voters in Florida (1,433), Pennsylvania (1,204), and Ohio (1,218).

On the Blitzer panel no comment that does not fit the “Obama is going to win this by big numbers and all of the voters have become comfortable with him” line.
They may physically attack John Fund.
Thank you for suffering through Wolfie - I can’t handle it. Reading FR w John Mc on in the background (he’s in PA - Ridge, Brownback, Liberman, Cindy and Megan are w him). He’s sounding strong and the audience is enthusiastic :-)
And you have to remember the dems stand for nothing so they will always bend with whatever poll there is not matter what it says. They can always lie and change their minds later.
Here’s an invitation from one of the PUMA sites if anyone you know is still a fence sitter or one that is leaning 0bama:

What is returns day?
I presume it is something to do with the official results because in Britain each election race official results are declared by the Returning Officer.
