Martin won a stunning victory Friday afternoon (October 31st) when the State of Hawai'i backed his assertion that there was an original, "typewritten, 1961" birth certificate, called a "Certificate of Live Birth" or "COLB" in Hawai'i, that no one has previously seen. Hawai'i officials retrieved and examined the document after Martin filed a lawsuit seeking access to the historic 1961 original.

We want the certificate of live birth -- the one that was typewritten, probably with an old IBM selectric, in 1961.

In a series of (6) miscarriages and still births, I went as far as 8 3/4 months, and had that still birth in the hospital, after over 12 hours of labor.

I NEVER recieved a single BIRTH CERTIFICATE for any of those events.

Please keep in mind that state privacy statutes generally include exceptions and that one of those exceptions is often a court subpoena. There are several cases around the country going on now in which subpoenas for the Hawaii birth records may issued.

Bad choice of words on my part. Thanks for the tune up. A delivery that didn't thrive or survive past a few hours or days might do but I really don't know what protocols were followed a Kapiolani in 1961... which BTW didn't open until 1971.

Dear Governor Lingle,

I’m writing to ask you to release all information that the State of Hawaii Department of Health has on Senator Barack Obama’s Certificate of Live Birth documentation.

Please tell the truth to the American public BEFORE election day.

What right has Sen. Obama and the democratic party to deny the citizens of our country the truth of the matter? Where are our rights regarding this man’s eligibility to run for the highest office?

The way it stands now, we are only sure of one thing - he’s hiding something. This makes me (us) very afraid for our country, for many reasons. Setting a precedent like this can only damage our elections in years to come.

I believe that part of your oath of office is to protect the country from all enemies, foreign and domestic. I also believe you may be our last line of defense in this matter.

Please do the right thing.

In another unrelated action, though also aimed at forcing Obama to release proof or step down, 24 potential Electoral College electors are filing action Monday morning in court also demanding proof. A call is herein being issued to any elector in any state, especially democrat electors who would like to join that effort. Electors interested in adding their name to this lawsuit can contact Mr. Marquis who will put you in contact with the attorney handling that case.

Found this in my travels, but don't know what to make of it. Martin sounds a bit over the top with all his self back patting. Not sure of the source either, but thought I'd pass it along for ya'll to read.

B.F. Skinner calls what Martin is doing, conditioned superstitious behavior. He thinks that because he did something right before Hawaii was going to make the announcement anyway. But, in reality, Fukino and Onaka were reacting to what Gov. Lingle allegedly did. They did it to set the record straight, nothing more.

“There have been numerous requests for Sen. Barack Hussein Obama’s official birth certificate. State law (Hawai‘i Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record.

“Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.

“No state official, including Governor Linda Lingle, has ever instructed that this vital record be handled in a manner different from any other vital record in the possession of the State of Hawai‘i.”

See that’s just it! We DO have a tangible interest in this. If he’s not eligible, we may be electing a foreign agent for all we know. We aren’t snooping high school sophomores - we are the citizens of this country and he is running for the highest office of the land. How dare you tell us we don’t have a tangible interest?
