the mass of rats who've come from under the woodwork and don't know anything about the issues and are voting because of the bandwagon effect....worries me.

Good!!!!! I hope we win in a land Slide!
I truly think that there are some folks who just simply should not vote....you’re right - an IQ test should be required...unbelieveable!!
That would leave the Dems without their most reliable voters...
“
As much as Im a republican diehard, I would be the last to classify fellow human beings with whom I have a political and ideological difference with as rats from the woodwork.
Human deceny and the conservative values affirm to us that we may not always agree, but we should be courteous. Much like how our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ was.”
I would agree. Sometimes folks seem to judge someone’s humanity almost entirely on politics. From work, church, and other venues I know plenty of liberals who are decent people who love their family and who work hard. They just tend to be tremendously misguided politically.
You should have told him to be sure to vote for Obama, but before pressing the "Vote" button, to also vote for Obama's Vice-President, Ralph Nader... :0)
Another noob troll, or so it appears. A concern troll at that. What difference does it make how “concerned” you are, it won’t change sh**?
No, not the captain of the JV.
I said send in the varsity.
I thought last week “the Boys” predicted it was all over for Mac. Fred must have tuned in to Rush on Friday.
“Talk about coming out of the woodwork... “
All the plants are showing up now. They have been given final orders and you will see many making a push now.
Why should this concern you...that’s his best shot...the rest is uphill for McCain.......landslide....will blow the socks off this team of lawyers BHO has waiting in the wings...election will be over Nov 4th...and McCain/Palin wins.
One final push to save the U.S.A.!
The challenge:
Between NOW and election day, convince at least two Obama/Undecided voters to vote for McCain. Further, convince these two people (or two others) to take up the same challenge. (Like a chain letter)
So you have converted people in the past? Good, but we need more!
Many Obama supporters are mindlessly supporting him, with no real reason, this means it is VERY easy to get them to switch over. Even if you fail, other Obama/undecideds may be in the room and hear valid arguments and question their faith in the One.
Do your part...your country depends on it!
Two nights ago, they were doin’ a number on many, many sincere FReepers.
Then, the next morning one of them (PaRep) self-destructed in a “blaze of glory”!
We're turning the tide!
Another “concerned” voter who joined in October...hmmmm.
BTW, why exactly do you think old people are going to vote for Obama in droves?
Garbage
Welcome to FR.
I don’t think he meant financially poor. More like seeing someone in the rain without an umbrella, and saying “poor guy’s getting wet”, if that makes any sense.
Funny how the tales of Republican ‘vote suppression’ always boil down to some local yokel printing fliers that tell people ‘Remember to vote on Wednesday!’ or some such. While this is illegal and I do not support the tactic or the mindset behind it...
How f’ing stupid do you have to be for this to be effective in confusing you?
Tales of vote suppression and vote fraud always center around profoundly unintelligent citizens and whether the Dems are successful or not in bussing, scaring, cajoling, paying or simply stealing their identity to get their ‘vote to count.’ To me, forcing a vote is as bad or worse than ‘suppressing’ a vote. You couldn’t keep me from my polling place if you tried. But after reading, considering, debating and deciding who to vote for and getting myself to the booth; my vote is then cancelled out by someone handed $10 or some smokes and herded into a van while being told who to vote for. Depressing. Infuriating.
I would agree. Sometimes folks seem to judge someones humanity almost entirely on politics. From work, church, and other venues I know plenty of liberals who are decent people who love their family and who work hard. They just tend to be tremendously misguided politically.
+++++
Exactly. We should not let our ideological and political drift make us see fellow human beings as “RATS”.
Thank you.
