the mass of rats who've come from under the woodwork and don't know anything about the issues and are voting because of the bandwagon effect....worries me.

I voted by mail - filled out the ballot, put it in the envelope and dropped it off at the clerk’s office. Took me 5 minutes to vote early.

Yes, we must always call out the foolish Liberals for allowing the end of life as our Lord Jesus demands.
And we must never waver in our efforts to drum sense and spirit in the world to outlaw forever any form of abortion.
To: jim35
Well, I misplaced my parenthesis, hopefully you can still get my point, there is nothing decent about liberalism in my eyes. I believe “decent” liberals are bringing about the fall of this great nation.

I would never stoop low and call them rats. Sometimes it makes sense to read threads for awhile before assuming the worst.
"Rats" is short hand for democRATS.
"Pubs" is short hand for rePUBlicans.
If you want to get into a debate about why voting for Rats is not Christian I will be happy to oblige.

the problem is......usually they would vote on election day thus lower turnout because of the lines, etc. If the are voting in the early voting period in great mass, there is a high probability of them voting now which is a bigger cushion for Obambi. Obama has no cushion since he is losing 20% of his own base, the Hillary voter and Reagan Democrat.
He was suppose to compensate for that with the Youth vote, which has not happened.
The Polls were used to keep GOP turnout low, which is also not happening.

They vote every election. There's no indication they're going to vote in larger numbers than before. Exactly!
You would think from the posts of some of these people think that the Democrats don't have any voters!
What Obama needs is NEW voters, which he is not getting enough of to make up for the loss of the 20% that he is going to lose from Hillary supporters and conservative Democrats.

Fred Barnes tonight predicted a McCain win and said that GOP losses in the Senate will not be as bad as feared. Given that Fred usually parrots the conventional wisdom, this is significant. Wow!
That is a surprise, I thought he had given up on McCain.
I had said in an earlier post that Barnes would be proven to be a fool on Nov.4th, but now I stand corrected, he will be shown to be a man with great political insight!

Thanks you for that. But it does not remove the fact that our Lord Jesus Christs spirit does not condone calling fellow human beings rats. Im sorry, that is not a Christian statement. He called people serpents and vipers! (Mat.23:33)

I haven't heard any numbers coming back from early voting showing any unusual turnout of Obama supporters.
So far he is just keeping pace with Kerry.

I would agree. Sometimes folks seem to judge someones humanity almost entirely on politics. From work, church, and other venues I know plenty of liberals who are decent people who love their family and who work hard. They just tend to be tremendously misguided politically. You don't think ones political values represent ones moral ones as well?
Do you think voting to take other people's property is moral?
Politics don't exist in a vacuum.
There is always a moral foundation.

Today I saw this homeless guy...what a hoot. He had the usual cardboard “homeless, need food” sing..but get this..... On top of that sign was a standard Obama yard sign!
I laughed so hard I almost ran my car off the road!!!!
Couldn’t figure out if the guy was expressing the “audacity of hope” or the Obama campaign paid him to walk around with the Obama sign.

So far he is just keeping pace with Kerry. Great news: I saw exit poll data from Florida that howed Obama up 7.5%.
Why is that reat news? Because Kerry got 16% of the early voters!

Great news: I saw exit poll data from Florida that howed Obama up 7.5%. Why is that reat news? Because Kerry got 16% of the early voters! And how do they know that Obama got those votes just because they were Democrat?
He could be losing about 20% of them to McCain.

Don’t be shocked but with this motor voter bill when an illegal gets a drivers license they then sign him up to vote! They say they are not allowed to ask if they are illegal aliens, however most can’t speak English which should be a dead giveaway!
