All right! I am about 10 feet from Sarah's podium in Raleigh! Can't take pictures from my Blackberry but the crowd is huge... Tens of thousands lined up outside. I managed to get VIP access at the last minute for the family and we're going to get a close-up view of our next Vice President! I'll try to post updates as the night goes on.
Any Freepers in the crowd, let me know!
You remind me of when I was about the same distance from President Reagan. I don’t want to sound like Criss Matthews talking about Obama but the wife and I both later remarked that it actually felt like your were next to someone great.
I am a registered Republican and some twit in warp speed followed up with the address where I should go and vote bama. Talk about ghoulish.

Our 7-12 grades had a mock election Friday. They were held all over TX, from what I understand. Our school - small and rural - went for McCain/Palin. We had an assembly before the vote, where some of the students played the parts of the candidates and gave speeches. (My grandson was Sarah. Another senior (girl) was mccain.)

He said he had a Blackberry. I used my Q when I saw her and McCain to send pictures and emails to my family. Pictures of the crowd that is...once Mac and Sarah took the stage I wasn’t messing around sending emails to anybody.

Yes, it’s really warm in here. Thousands and thousands of people chanting “USA! USA!” and waving flags and pompoms and signs. My little blonde stepdaughter is waving her pompoms in a pink Palin shirt right at the front now across from me! This is so amazing to be a part of!
My parents are there. They said they are right up close too. They are not freepers, but I send them links all the time. Wish I could have gone. Little baby at home though. If you’re brave enough, just yell out is there a man named “Hal” here that is a former Marine. That’s my dad.
