I’m so sorry your daughter has to go through this.

Having a loved one taken from you through violence is very difficult to deal with. Going through the trial will make the emotions raw, but she will be okay.

My nephew was the victim of a brutal beating by teenagers. He never came out of the coma. I understand the helplessness of the situation, the frustration, the what-if’s, the engulfing grief.

I’ll be in prayer for your daughter.

Prayers up for your daughter, she sure has had enough to deal with.

One of my favorites is called, "Foot prints in the sand", The Lord walking by my side, two sets of prints become one, "Lord, why have you abandoned me in my time of need?" "My child, I have not abandoned you, I am carrying you."

I will pray for you, your dauther, and family. Trials can re-open memories that one wants to forget. Justice will be served but scars can be reopened in the process. I pray for God to give your family tremenous strength, guidance, healing during this time.

Your daughter has had to live with this tragedy for so long! I pray that the trial will help to bring an end to the waiting for justice and that she will feel some sort of healing if those responsible finally pay. May her heart’s pain ease a bit.

I went through a similar situation when my husband was murdered. It was very hard on the days I had to go to the courthouse. Will someone be accompanying her? That will be very important. Also, have her bring photos of her ex with the kids that she can show everyone while she’s on the stand. It reminds people that a real human being was murdered.
