THIS MAKES NO SENSE.

It makes perfect sense on Obama's part to do anything he can to hide his place of birth if in fact he was born in Kenya and is therefore constitutionally ineligible to serve as POTUS.

McCain is different though.

Wasn’t he born on a base to American citizens?

I agree. It also makes no sense that it hasn’t been presented if it exists. This whole flap would disappear in an instant.

Wouldn’t you love to know how their sitting atop auntie in the slums? One slip of her lip and Obama’s world could spin out of control.

“This whole thing makes no sense to me. You can’t get a passport without presenting a birth cerificate”

According to Berg’s interview on Michael Savage last week, it’s not certain that The Zero has a U.S. passport. When he made his European trip this past summer, he might have been traveling on a “Diplomatic Passport.” I don’t know what the requirements are for obtaining one of those.

Yes, there are constitutional provisions regarding qualifications for the Senate. Senators must be at least 30 years of age, be citizens of the United States for at least nine years, and be residents of the state they represent at the time of their election. A major difference is that the POTUS must be a natural born citizen, whereas a Senator could possibly be a naturalized citizen.

Of course, Berg could always release his secret weapon: he’s boasted several times that he has a tape of The Zero’s paternal grandmather in Kenya admitting in a phone conversation that he was born in Kenya and that she witnessed the birth.

Didn’t Berg claim early last week that he would release this tape “in a few days”?

Yes, McCain was born on American soil (Panama Canal Zone) to two American citizens.

You’re not understanding the issue. Any citizen of age can be a US Senator, but NOT any citizen of age can be a President.

You have to be a “natural-born” citizen, which has a highly specific definition, that Obama appears to possibly fall short of, due to his non-citizen father, his mother being a minor, and the possibility that he was not born in the US. There are witnesses (family members) that say he was born in Kenya, there are no witnesses to vouch for his being born in the US, and he has sent lawyers into Federal Court to argue that he doesn’t need to show his birth certificate.

Thanks for the clarification of the eligibility requirements for US Senate vs President.

By now, we’re all familiar with the “natural born citizen” requirement for the Presidency, but the Senate requirements haven’t been discussed much. Yet.

Not true, Cook. I'm completely aware of the eligibility requirements for President of the US. Obama seems to be the one who doesn't get it.

How do we not have the standing?

That statement alone is a constitutional crisis.

Just think of us citizens as Al Bundy--pay all the bills and get no respect.

Bambi and his cruddy commie cohorts need to be humiliated into oblivion.

I'd prefer to see them humiliated into a federal penitentiary.

Oh, I hadn't heard that. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I have this feeling that something is about to blow on one of the many unanswered questions.

Despite anything they pretend, the Clinton's don't want Obama elected. He's the fly in the ointment they hadn't figured on and Hillary's ambitions didn't die with her primary loss.

Since Berg is associated with Bill and Hill, who knows? If not this, maybe the Khalidi thing will burst. That may also have Clinton fingerprints on it.

Windflier commented that the citizenship requirements for senator were probably like that of POTUS. As you have pointed out, they are not and, knowing that, I commented “nope”.

More arrogance from nObama.

He’s convinced he’s nobility.

nObama has raised he middle finger to Berg, the courts and us.

“Catch me if you can.”

Who has the responsibility of vetting candidates in this way for political office?

It gets much more complicated in each state determining who the electors are.

Even if he would qualify as a Senator, wouldn’t perpetuating such a massive fraud on America be a crime? Maybe he could finish his term from prison.

I agree; they won’t delay the election, and I think that McCain will win, but for AFTER the election, this should be pursued (as he’ll still be a Senator).

It was passed early on as BS, but why doesn’t he just present it? HE’S TRYING TO BE PRESIDENT OF AMERICA! Hell I gave mine to the State Department to get a passport. Screw Hawaii, sue the damn State Department for his BC.
