If she didn't want this to fly in her face during an election...WHY did she associate with him in the FIRST place?

She’s a Democrat. She’s pro-abortion. Thus, she’s not godless. She worships Moloch.

“The political ad suggests Hagan is “godless” because she attended a fundraiser in Boston in September at the home of author Wendy Kaminer and her husband, Woody Kaplan, who was on the advisory board of the Godless Americans political action committee and active in a group that promotes “secular” ideas.”
Exactly. If the shoe fits this DemocRat should wwear it.
But like most DemocRats, her view of the First Amendment is highly selective.

Dems hate the truth. Dems threaten legal action whenever the truth gets out. I hope Dole sticks with this attack. And frankly, as a member of a mainline protestant church (Episcopal), I can tell you that Hagan’s membership of another such denomination, by itself, isn’t really that much of a defense.

This is reminiscent of the idiotic ad we have running locally that says Shane Massey is against the Ten Commandments and the Lord’s Prayer. I’ll be so happy when this election season is over.

“If Hagan attended an atheist fundraiser in Boston?
Here's a note to democrats, you can keep this one for
the next election cycle:
If you don't want to be linked to Atheists, terrorists,
felons, and race-baiting anti-americans, don't hang
around with them.
Pretty simple really.
If you don't want these kind of questions asked, stop
taking money from Anti-christ-like kinda peoples!”
I like this comment from the source site.

Let her sue. My mother always told me if you lay down with dogs you'll wake up with fleas!
If you don't want to be called 'godless' don't associate with and accept money from self professed 'godless' folks.

Very hard hitting but fair. Hopefully it plays well with undecideds. This is a tight race but I think Dole takes it by a hair.

State Sen. Kay Hagan says she'll go to court to seek a cease-and-desist order against U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Dole's campaign if the "godless" TV spot isn't pulled in the next 24 hours. What would be the grounds for such a court order? Did Hagan not go to the fundraiser?
I'm no lawyer but it seems to me that Hagan's proper response would be to put up her own damn ad and quit acting like a two year old.

Democrats get SO P!SSED when you point out the truth about them.
Yes, you’re communist/socialist/fascists.
Yes, you’re godless and wicked.
Yes, you support infanticide.

If this ad were backfiring, Kay Hagan wouldn’t be taking this action. Clearly, it’s inflicting damage on her chances.

I’ve seen some obnoxious judicial rulings in the last several decades, but I’m curious to know what legal theory Hagan would use to bring suit against Dole and seek a cease-and-desist order? Any judge who might grant one in this situation has to be a judicial “activist” to the extreme.
To: NCDragon
Dole is right.
And most of the Presbyterians that I’ve known are quite Godless. What’s her gripe?
