You know the videotape that shows
Barack Obama toasting PLO terrorist Rashid Khalidi? The one that the Los Angeles Times
refuses to release?
"The Los Angeles Times did not publish the videotape because it was provided to us by a confidential source who did so on the condition that we not release it," said the newspaper's editor, Russ Stanton...
How frickin' stupid do they think we are? Someone gave the Times a videotape
so it wouldn't be released? And they can't publish a transcript?
I guess that's the kind of executive talent the newspaper business is attracting these days.
However, I received a tip from a person who has provided useful, accurate and unique data from LA before (e.g., "
All six of CNN's 'undecided voters' were Democratic operatives"). Take it for what it's worth, but I believe this person is on target.
Saw a clip from the tape. Reason we can't release it is because statements Obama said to rile audience up during toast. He congratulates Khalidi for his work saying "Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine" plus there's been "genocide against the Palestinian people by Israelis."
It would be really controversial if it got out. Tha's why they will not even let a transcript get out.
Yep, I guess that would do it.

That could be one of the tactics, yes. Force them to come out with it because the rumors would be worse than whats on the tape. You just double or triple the size of the rumor..trust me, they will be coming forward with the tape soon if they think it came some way alleviate the storm pushing against them. And getting the tape is the number one objective. This could be a good smoke out. Get them on defensive, push these liberal mofos backs up against the wall.

Oh I want to have faith in Jewish people. But their continued support for Democrats makes it very hard.

Don't reply to this post. I won't respond. Don't Freepmail me. I won't respond.
There is much, much worse from Obama on the tape than this thread claims.

Is this 1860 all over again?
If the people that voted for Abraham Lincoln knew that his election would precipitate civil war, would they have voted for him?
What are the odds that Israel will start WWIII with an
attack on Iran if BHO is elected? Is this the test that
Old Joe referred to?

I think a lot more Dems will than the current polls suggest. Some, of course, will chicken out and vote for the Dem, but there is enough anger, distrust, and disgust with Obama that he will lose way more Dems than McCain will lose Repubs. If my experience this morning is any indication the key word in you sentence is 'distrust'. I just don't think those particular guys trust Obama.

The longer the LA times keeps it secret, the worse the tape gets!

Believe in them, the only reason why they have voted for democrats is because the democrats have appealed to their fear of exclusion and of being hated. Now their democrat is the one who hates them, and I believe the already know that. Believe in them!

from what the LA Times said.. they made a promise not release video.. but they can still issue another article about the conference.. including transcript of barack’s speech without breaking that promise..
To: RC2
Why did someone give the Times a tape and then ask them not to release it.
Obviously an attempt at "reverse psychology", as dealing with
LA Times staff is no different than dealing with petulant children.
Sadly, s/he clearly didn't fully appreciate that The LA Times is
part of The Obama Campaign machine.

As much as I want to believe Jews would abandon Obama because of a statement like this, I think they wouldnt. Many would, but most would just shrug their shoulders. Sadly, I think you are right. None of my Jewish friends, co-workers or acquaintances would ever consider voting anything but Democrat.

Why not have a transcript? Perhaps “someone gave the transcript under the condition of anonymity and that it not be released to the public”.

The more the LA times keeps this tape under wraps, the more media attention it gets. If the thing had been released without any fanfare, nobody would have noticed (except we freepers). If and when it does get released, the PR on it will be all whipped into a frenzy. Much better the way this is going down.
And even if it doesn’t get released, the rumors circulating about it are giving McCain good airtime. Either way it is a win-win. No way can Obmama say anything positive about this situation.

Seems McCain can speculate what's on it?
Statements like, “Is the tape not being released because Obama blames Israel for the Palestinian situation”
Statements should be in terms of questions. Plant the seed John, plant the seed!

I think that the McCain camp demanding that the tape be released makes me think that they have a copy of the tape. They will make these demands and the LA Times will stonewall.
Then out of nowhere, “someone” will come forward with a copy of the tape......tomorrow morning for all to see.
McCain would not be making demands like this unless they know first hand whats on them and they have a copy. The next 48 hours are going to be interesting.

I asked my son if most of the young people that he knows are voting for Obama. He said no way, at least not in Arizona. He only knows two guys who are voting Obama and one is Jewish. He says that the guy doesn’t believe that Obama is Muslim.
