Why Obama's campaign doesn't have AVS turned on for it's Credit Card Donations (Blood Boiling Alert)
Posted on 10/29/2008 8:05:05 AM PDT by Scythian
Fox had an interesting story on this morning. Obama's campaign does not have AVS turned on for it's credit card processing on donations (AVS = Address Verification Service). So, in reality, there is no name validation or address verification tied to his donations, and a ton of money is pouring in from Europe and elsewhere. They can just type in anyname they want to, Fox listed some of the names, Adolf Hilter, William Ayers, Yogi Bear, and so on. Basically, the Obama campaign has put the US Presidency on his own EBay and Europe and others are saying "Okay, we would like you to win, here's some money". A large percentage of his money is coming from outside of the US and he knows it. I run a business that does online sales, trust me, nobody runs with AVS turned off, you would end up with 95% fraud if you did.

What do you expect from someone who’s support comes primarily from dead voters and fraudulent voters?

The Obama organization said its extensive review has ensured that the campaign has refunded any improper contributions, and noted that Federal Election Commission rules do not require front-end screening of donations. As I posted on another thread about it...
Interesting. An opening this big for potential illegal foreign contributions supercedes the necessity of the bureaucracy of a "Federal Election Commission" or a "Constitution" for that matter.
De-constructing and de-constituting The United States of America.

Right, basically, all they are verifying is that the credit card has the balance to donate, since they have AVS turned off it’s impossible to know who or where the donation even came from. Obama’s campaign is flat out lying on this issue and willingly, encouragingly, taking foreign money to win the White House.

McCain should just run an ad saying Obama agreed to take matching funds which would have limited his ability to raise obscene amounts of money.
Then show a clip of Obama now refusing to live by his promise. Say we now know why...Obama is now taking illegal money from Iran, Syria, and North Korea—this is why he didn’t want to limit his ability to raise money. He’s in the pocket of the terrorists. Why else would he have turned off standard fraud protection for credit card donations. In fact, Amedinajad has given him $$$ and so has Osama bin Laden.
Do you really want the next president to be someone that is willing to take money from Osama Bin Laden?

As bill clinton proved. All you need to do is win. After you win you can “make it right” by saying you paid back all that illegal money.

Interesting...I posted on another part.....i donated once to Obama, when this all first started....once I looked into his record and his hatred of the US....I switched....
now I have my credit card compromised....I had to close it because I kept getting charges for 31.21 and 49.94 over and over and over. How can I check this out? I have a hold om my card, but I will have to close everything. How do I look up his contributors list....I want to see if the names match. They have my card number because I used it once in his campaign.

Is the MSM starting to notice?
It looks like the MSM is starting to pick up on the credit card problems inside the Obama campaign. The Washington Post’s Matthew Mosk wrote a story about Obama Accepting Untraceable Donations that appeared on page A02 of the paper today. In addition to the credit card problems, Mosk points out that the Obama campaign is also accepting completely untraceable Visa and Mastercard gift cards - something the McCain campaign and the RNC were astonished to hear.
Senator Obama collected nearly $100 million in Internet contributions in September, and with no security and clearly inadequate identity checks, it is even more important that his complete list of donors be released so they can be looked at more carefully. Don’t let Obama buy this election with questionable money! Sign the petition today!

I find it interesting that one Mary Biskop from Missouri donated $174,000 to Obama even though she says she donated nothing.

I agree. An outstanding ad could be made, focusing on his pledge to take matching funds, his change of heart, his vast sums of cash raised over the past months, and his total non-interest in abiding by laws against donation limits or foreign funding.
Who's funding Obama's campaign?
To: ClearCase_guy
Think about it, Obama raised
100 MILLION
dollars via internet donations in September? Give me a freakin' break, this is a crime people. No traceability, look at the story a few above that I posted, it's all pouring in from overseas.

Who’s funding Obama’s campaign?
We know it’s not his voters...they don’t pay taxes and they still need tax credits (welfare) to survive.

The contributor list won’t do you any good. However, call your credit card company’s fraud hotline (they all have one), report the charges, and ask for info. on to whom the charges were paid.
If it is the Obama campaign, please (1) call the local media if you have any non-moonbat outlets and (2) file criminal charges for credit fraud. The call the media again.
