Obama, talking about the civil rights movement and Supreme Court, says: "I think where it succeeded was to invest formal rights in previously dispossessed peoples so that I would now have the right to vote, I would now be able to sit at the lunch counter and order [and] as long as I could pay for it I would be OK. But the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth and sort of more basic issues of political and economic justice in this society." Calling it one of the "tragedies" of the movement, he added that there was "a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing and activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributive change and in some ways we still suffer from that."

2001: Obama Bombshell Redistribution of Wealth Audio Uncovered!! "Redistributive Change":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iivL4c_3pck
Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read "Vote Obama, I need the money," I laughed.
Once in the restaurant my server had on a "Obama 08" tie, again I laughed as he had given away his political preference--just imagine the coincidence.
When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.
I went outside, gave the home less guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I've decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.
At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved money more.
I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.
It’s terrifying, what our country is on the verge of doing to itself.
I was speaking to an older guy who is a doctor earlier this week. I always knew he was from another country, but I never knew from where. He was talking about how much Hussein scared him, and reminded him of a charismatic young politician in the country his family came from. That charismatic young politician the doctor was referring to was Fidel Castro. He said that the rhetoric of Hussein is VERY similar to that of Castro when he was arriving on the scene in Cuba. At least the doctor’s family had a better, free country to flee to. Where do we have to go?
Great story!
I have long maintained the redistribution of wealth is the key to victory for McCain/Palin. Americans hate the idea! The idea that if you work hard to make something of yourself only to have the government step in, take it away and give it to someone who didn’t earn it repulses most Americans. In the few remaining days of the campaign, I hope Sen. McCain and Gov. Palin keep on hitting obama with redistribution of wealth calling it what it is - SOCIALISM!
Obama is a skinny little numb nuts. So f’n stupid, just a puff-headed know-nothing. Numb in the nuts and numb in the head.
