News flash: Obama is "biracial," according to his top adviser on race issues, Harvard law professor Charles Ogletree, during an Oct. 25 panel discussion at Harvard on race and the 2008 election: http://www.archive.org/details/OgletreeSaysObamaIsbiracial
Ogletree's point is that because of pervasive racism which he expects will last decades, white America won't vote for blacks and other minority candidates. The expected heavy white vote for Obama doesn't disprove this thesis, Ogletree says, because Obama's not black; he's "biracial." So it looks like, according to Ogletree (and Obama?) that white America will have to do lots more for blacks after electing Obama to atone for past sins; it will get little if any credit for electing Obama.
If it wasn't already obvious, it's pretty clear which campaign is playing the race card: Obama's campaign keeps bringing up issues of race; McCain's campaign has not initiated any such discussion.
Note that Ogletree can't be dismissed as some fringe Obama kook like Jeremiah Wright. Ogletree's a tenured professor at Harvard Law School. According to the ABA Journal, Ogletree (who was a mentor during law school to both Barack and Michelle Obama) has a very good chance of being appointed as the top Department of Justice official in charge of civil rights enforcement in any Obama Administration: http://abajournal.com/magazine/the_lawyers_who_may_run_america_obama

As Booker T Washington said:
“There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs. There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don’t want the patient to get well.”
Same with these “economic reparative changes” - ie, REPARATIONS. It will never be enough, it will never actually even be CALLED “reparations”, because once they do, they can’t “go back to the well” again.
I guess I can only speak for myself but this seems kinda crazy to me. I am a country-southern-white guy, that more or less fits the redneck, good ol boy stereotype(at least visually). I guess a lot of people would look at me and think that I would never vote for a black candidate.
The thing is, it is simply not true, I could easily vote for a black candidate. Just not Obama, or Al Sharpton, etc. I could have happily voted for Keyes, or JC Watts, etc. Jeeze louise, I would get out and campaign if only a Walter E Williams or Thomas Sowell would run.
Not happy at all to have to pull the lever for Mccain. In fact I probably would not have had he not picked Palin. She ROCKS!!!

The Obamaloon had to dig deep to find folks even dumber than he. He succeeded.
I wasn’t even 8 years old when that stuff happened and I certainly doesn’t endorse such activity. I shouldn’t have to pay. Barack Obama is more personally connected to vile establishments and that is his excuse for such associations.

So what? Most American blacks have some white blood. And for some strange reason, many of the most radical "black" racial demagogues, like Jeremiah Wright, Julian Bond, and the late Adam Clayton Powell, are even paler than Hussein.
There is some merit to this article; Obama’s not “black” in the usual American sense.
His mother was white, of course. Family owned slaves, apparently.
His father was of an African tribe that historically captured other Africans, enslaved them, and sold them to fellow muslim slave traders, who then sold them to Europeans.
Obama has no connection to slavery, at all, other than being the beneficiary of it.
Ironic, in that the 96% of American blacks — descendants of the people his ancestors enslaved -— will vote for Obama, overwhelmingly because of the melanin content of his skin, in some sort of mistaken color allegence.
And, like his ancestors, Obama will enslave these blacks with government programs that destroy the family, morals, and work ethic, so as to keep them on the Democrat plantation, mired in the poverty and ignorance.
Generation after generation being used by Obama and his ilk.
Amazing sad.

That’s just great. So even if America does exactly what they want and elects Obama, it won’t be enough to compensate for past racial sins. Nothing will ever be enough, that is the real truth. They want to reserve the right to continue to use the bludgeon of white guilt to beat us with from time to time whenever necessary.

Well, that’s one more reason not to vote for him.
Over 40 years ago the first research by scholars such as Melville J. Herskovitz showed conclusively that only about 10% of American blacks are not multi-racial. It makes onw wonder why the desire to fabricate nonsense about African heritage (such as Swahili, the language of Arab slaver traders of blacks) rather than boast of the accomplishments of all of those from whom one is descended, much as the blacks who claim descent from one of the Jefferson family do. Is racism the answer to racism?
Why I’m shocked...shocked to discover that blacks should want to continue demanding that whites feel guilty about slavery. Shocked that an excuse has been created for the purpose of continuing the extortion of countless trillions more in welfare, food stamps, free medical care, affirmative action...Say, wait a minute. Why don’t whites all quit working and demand that blacks support them! What do you think Jesse would say? (And who in the world would he be able to shake down then??)
