COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A federal judge in Ohio has ruled that counties must allow homeless voters to list park benches and other locations that aren't buildings as their addresses.
U.S. District Judge Edmund Sargus also ruled that provisional ballots can't be invalidated because of poll worker errors.

OMG.....
OK, here’s a solution. Why don’t we Freepers get on a few buses to Ohio, be homeless for a day. Can we vote then and cancel these bogus homeless votes out?

LOL, wait until they figure out the law of unintended consequences - they will have an inventory of the homeless when the voter roll is bumped against the post office list. Dollars to donuts they try to sequester the voter list.

can we go back to the days when only property owners could vote? Or at the very least have some sort of an income threshold.

This is rich. There is something about election season. Football. The World Series. The approach of Halloween. A nip in the air. The smell of burning leaves.
And bums.
I only want to know this: what about the bums who live under interstate overpasses? What about their rights? To say nothing of the mobile homeless that live in empty appliance cartons.

The county should put a property value on the park benches, and levy a property tax.

This isn't really news. Ohio BOEs have allowed this for years. Heck, Ken Blackwell allowed it when HE was Ohio's SOS.
But don't let me get in the way of a tar & feathering.

It’s going to have to get a whole lot worse first, before we ever have a chance of something so sensible happening.

How about a prohibition on the Mentally Ill? They can still be federal judges... oh, you were talking about the voter.
If the person is truly an Ohio resident who happens to be an Urban Outdoorsman, then I can accept that he can vote. However ACORN will now register 139 people per park bench.
