Cooper Arms owner Dan Cooper backs Obama. Can't post the article due to copy write infringement, But I thought you might want to know that a gun manufacturer is supporting a gun grabber. He said he was he was dazzled by Obama's speech at that year's Democratic National Convention.

Will never even consider buying Cooper. There are so many other tremendous manufacturers out there. Why buy from someone like Cooper who sells us out?
To: thefactor
No, I’m a Dan Cooper from California. Apparently there quite a few of us out there.

...this is just my word on the matter. Good enough for me. What an ass. I guess he never heard of Zumbo or Smith & Wesson. I called them and the lady seemed a little defensive.... {:0)

I think this guy figures his products will be blessed under the New Constitution (the one that will spell out the powers government has over people) as being "especially well suited for sporting purposes. Billionaire liberals aren't about to lose their $15K Perazzis, or Steven Spielberg his multimillion dollar collection of automatic weapons. They might even be invited to look upon the BATFE's elite collection of "reference weapons".
This might be a good time to invest in "pre boycott" Coopers. They look decent, but nothing outstanding except for the high-end glitz.

Better to be the Guard, rather than the Guarded, to his mind, I guess.
Maybe he thinks he’ll get sweetheart contracts from the Master, like S&W ala Clinton.

I sent the Cooper link to my BiL in Colorado. BiL is a custom gunstock builder with a vast data base...

Cooper Arms owner Dan Cooper Cooper Arms is an apartment building on Long Beach
Cooper Firearms is different. It makes pretty wooden stock rifles, not ugly black plastic ones.

USA Today must die:
From the Cooper website:
“Regarding the USA Today Article. Cooper Firearms of Montana, Inc. did not contribute and does not support in any fashion the campaign of Senator Obama.
Nine months ago Dan Cooper (personally) made an online donation to the campaign in an effort to help defeat Hillary Clinton and in protest of American plant closures and the shipping of jobs overseas. Three months ago he made yet another donation to the McCain campaign and the RNC totaling over twice that given to Obama campaign.
There is no doubt that the article in USA Today has caused a considerable response. To this end we are encouraged and stand with our fellow NRA members and supporters of the Second Amendment and against those who oppose it. “

WOW, are you telling me that the entire story was a lie, they gave Dan Cooper about half a page, it was WAY more than just MONEY! I think Cooper is lying to cover his ass, if not he needs to get on FOX and Call USA Today out and sue them for Libel Did you READ that article? If it's a lie, it a huge propoganda win for the McCain camp. I'll bet cooper does nothing more than put a statement on his web page, which isn't enough to convince me. I think the MSM is a pack of liars, but cooper must have given them some kind of interview, no way they sat there and just made up all those quotes. He admits to giving the money, my money says he gave them the interview they posted as well!
