Obama’s thoughts on how racist the founders and our constitution is. Apparantely it, and America, are deeply flawed. I’m sure Obama wants to fix this through revolutionary, radical change!

Obama is complaining about the genius of our Constitution - that it limits government power.
He wants a Constitution that forces people to do things. A Constitution that dictates what the “government must do”. He really means a government that controls what we must do, he’s talking about being forced to provide housing, etc.
He is complaining about teh Founder’s “restraints” because they sought to prevent government from having absolute power. Scary stuff.
In Obama’s world, there will be no property rights. No absolute freedom of speech. The government will decide and enforce what is best for all.

Does anyone have a transcript of the speech or address?
If this is going to be a campaign issue, the McCain campaign shouldn’t frame it as a difference in the interpretation of the Constitution. They should come with more simple frame, such as, “0bama wants to change the Constitution to redistribute the wealth.”
If McCain was a bit more of an intellectual maybe, he would go on news shows and force a discussion of this issue. Obama is attacking the most basic tenets of our system of government.
This business about wanting a government that decides what “must” be done fits right in with Michelle’s rant that Barack will never let us go back to our former. complacent lives.
Obams is actually radical enough that be thinks the Constitution should have required the government to provide every person with a house, job, education, food, etc. His experience with leftism, academia and the inner city leaves Obama completely out of touch with the free enterprise system.
Also note Obama refers to himself as a “professor of law” when he was no such thing. He taught a college course on racism and the law. He was not a law school professor and his use of the term is inappropriate.
Obama is an idiot if he can’t see the genius in the Constitution.
