7-Year-Old Had Been Missing From Home Where Jennifer Hudson's Mother, Brother Were Found Murdered
CHICAGO (CBS) ― Chicago police confirmed Monday that the body of a young boy found inside a white sport-utility vehicle on the city's West Side is the nephew of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson. The child had been shot in the the head, authorities said.
Hudson's nephew, Julian King, 7, had been missing from the South Side home where the bodies of Hudson's mother and brother were found murdered on Friday. An Amber Alert for Julian was canceled late Monday morning.
The discovery is the latest in a series of tragedies to befall Hudson and her family over the past four days. Jennifer Hudson and other members of the family were at the medical examiner's office Monday afternoon and identified the body.
The SUV was found at 1313 S. Kolin Ave. in the Lawndale neighborhood, police said. The body of an African-American boy who looked to be about 7 was found in the back seat, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Police discovered the SUV just after 7 a.m. Monday morning. Responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle, police looked inside the vehicle and found a body.

How have we come to this point? We have women that are so DESPERATE for love that they’ll date, let alone MARRY, CONVICTED murderers and perverts? Gee. Think what a FATHER in the home could do to alleviate these situations in the first place!
Thanks again, DEMOCRATS, for making Fathers insignificant through easy divorce, screwing Dads over in court on child support/visitation at any given chance, and ripping apart minority families wherever possible. They ought to see if the perp went through Ayer’s and Obama’s reeducation training camps...
In fact they should do a complete study in Chicago to see how many graduates of the fine Ayer’s training have been arrested, incarcerated for crimes.
Seems to reason it would be high since the Chicago school system is one of the worst.
But don’t worry Obama will use his Jedi mind trick to convince everyone that he really didn’t say those things, or he really didn’t hang around with those guys and that everything is going to be all right.
What do you want to bet they try and get this off the front page as soon possible because it will bring about some ugly focus on soft-on-crime garbage in Chicago.
The two clearly had a fight, but this was not a “domestic” issue. He has a history of criminal activity. They are deliberately trying to make this appear to be isolated and that is crap.

Chicago is the murder capitol of the United States. Why doesn't Barack Obama care about murder victims? Afterall, according to the left wingnuts, it's Sarah Palin's fault that Alaska's rape rate is so high. /sarc
The irony here is that Obama likely did play a role in Chicago's violent crime rate.
This story is so heartbreaking. Thoughts and prayers for Jennifer Hudson and family. May her mother, brother, and sweet little nephew rest in peace.

I have never read about that admission. Whom did he kill? Why wasn't he charged with murder and tried?
I’m sure the spin will make us dizzy. Few articles are stating Balfour’s past crimes and violent behaviour.
I think Balfour’s behaviour is a result of Chicago’s thug culture. He’ll never get the punishment he deserves. Sadly.
What makes this especially horrible is that Jennifer Hudson had become a role model for abstinence, even bravely taking on critics with her statement at the MTV Awards. She has faith in the Lord. I hope she can draw upon her faith to see her through this earthquake in her life. Prayers for her and her family.
What has happened to the Hudson family in Chicago of all places is a warning about what will happen to America IF Obama gets elected.

With polls starting to get tight, and with this tragic situation that just happened in Chicagoland, people in the rest of the country are rightly are getting scared.
A senseless tragedy already, now an adorable defenseless little boy murdered. We grieve with the Hudson family.
Even worse, with his redistributive reparations the city thugs will have more money to buy better guns.

I asked a female friend about this once and she replied that women like ‘dangerous’ guys.
“Dangerous like they might even kill you?” I asked.
“Yeah,” she says.
And I can’t get a date...
He admits to the terrorism, and people died. There was a legal loophole created by collection of evidence or some such, that made it impossible to convict him.
He has said as late as 1995 to 2000 (somewhere in that range) that he didn’t do enough terrorism, and that he couldn’t promise he wouldn’t do more of it at some future time.
