HONOLULU, Hawaii – Although the legitimacy of Sen. Barack Obama's birth certificate has become a focus of intense speculation – and even several lawsuits – WND has learned that Hawaii's Gov. Linda Lingle has placed the candidate's birth certificate under seal, and instructed the state's Department of Health to make sure no one in the press obtains access to the original document under any circumstances.

Somehow this reminds me of the scene in Omen II, where the doctor is puzzled by the blood analysis he does on Damien Thorne. His fate is sealed when he looks through a book and utters the word, “Goat?”.
I thought Hawaiin was so left, it couldn’t stand up straight. I didn’t realize they had a Republican Governor.
I wonder what this means.
Why all the effort to seal the damn thing? Shouldn’t he be saying “here it is, any questions?” he is soooo hiding something.
The Republican Lady Governor of Hawaii spoke at the Republican National Convention just before Sarah came on. I sure hope that Lady has the nerve to protect documents that are so important to the Constitutional integrity of the Republic.

The computer generated short form COLB may/not be a forgery. The signature stamp of Mr. Onaka is interesting because Mr. Onaka appears to have graduated in 1965 and was hired sometime in the late 1980s.

It is clear that mechanisms exist under the Twelfth Amendment and 3 U.S.C. 15 for any challenge to any candidate to be ventilated when electoral votes are counted, and that the Twentieth Amendment provides guidance regarding how to proceed if a president elect shall have failed to qualify. Issues regarding qualifications for president are quintessentially suited to the foregoing process. Arguments concerning qualifications or lack thereof can be laid before the voting public before the election and, once the election is over, can be raised as objections as the electoral votes are counted in Congress.
The members of the Senate and the House of Representatives are well qualified to adjudicate any objections to ballots for allegedly unqualified candidates. Therefore, this order holds that the challenge presented by plaintiff is committed under the Constitution to the electors and the legislative branch, at least in the first instance. Judicial review — if any — should occur only after the electoral and Congressional processes have run their course. Texas v. United States, 523 U.S. 296, 300–02 (1998). This circumstance also obviates any occasion to consider plaintiff’s standing-cure suggestion that the American Independent Party (affiliated with Alan Keyes) be allowed to intervene.

Wonder if Gov. Lingle is suspicious of a birth certificate being uncovered right after Obama was in the state (inside collusion to introduce a document into the official records) and has sealed it to preserve evidence of a forgery.
Yes Hawaii has a Republican gov..she spoke at the convention introducing Palin!
I thought that Sarah and Governor Lingle are personal friends from when Sarah went to college in Hawaii
Remember O has bought airtime right before the election. He’ll be very cool and show his Birth Certificate and try to make all who have complained look like fools. (s)
