He terms our freedoms from government control (i.e., Liberty, free speech, freedom of religion, etc.), "negative rights," and our so-called freedoms of government control (i.e., welfare spending, government-provided healthcare, etc.), "positive rights."
I don't buy the theory, I'm just trying to explain it.
It's obvious to Freepers that the 'freedom' to get stuff from the government is the beginning of the end for the US as we have known it. Hopefully the undecideds will also come to understand this --and soon.

So what will they do with this redistributed “wealth”? Which is not capital, human or otherwise. Probably by a big screen TV or a new set of spinner rims.

The first phase is CONFISCATION — essentially, assuming control over paychecks.
Once they have done this THEN redistribution begins — and so does the biggest heartache Americans have ever known.
That they announced the 401K thing is a bit of a surprise to me — however, this is but a shot over the bow, people.
Remember: IF the leftists get elected there will be pretty long period of what KGB affectionately called “normalization”.
For a while it will appear that everything is just as it was — But things are far from normal.
Behind the scenes the plans are being drawn for the next phase of a well organized attack on your freedom — specifically on your ability to strike back — they are busy stripping you of any recourse — you must be prevented from getting in their way so they will change or rewrite laws that protect them and eliminate your THREAT AS A FREE-MINDED AMERICAN.
Then, like dominos, they will start the next phase. Before you have time to react you will be set back to a pre-revolution state, in terms of your rights.
Remember too: 0bama says that the constitution is unfinished “...what the government CAN DO ON YOUR BEHALF”. Using this funky logic then ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

This is their foot-in-the-door to CHANGE the constitution to fit their agenda — the age-old SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST agenda.

Disillusioned and “betrayed”, the “Useful Idiots” have historically put up stiff resistance to Communist take-over. So, in more recent history they are carted off to a field somewhere and shot in the head soon after the communists take control — as a matter of necessity, of course. This is where the Hollywood liberals end up and all the fools who think you can regulate socialism.
Socialism CANNOT BE REGULATED. You are free or you are falling down the hill of socialism and communism until you reach the bottom which is hell on earth and then death.
Does 0bama mean well? I believe he means well for black people. I believe he means for those that think like him. But as a leftist he WILL TAKE YOU OUT IN HEARTBEAT if you stand in his way. I believe he hates successful white men.
Will this happen next year? No. But in short order you will begin to see things in this country that you would never have thought possible, I guarantee it.

I was raised in the midwest by my grandparents. I was so very fortunate to have had loads of WWII vets around me. I loved this generation so much.
I can remember, while I was still quite young, wondering what it was going to be like when all these great old people died. Instinctively, I distrusted the new generations. Again, they just took too much for granted.
I yearn to have those people all around me again. They wouldn’t have allowed Barack to get as far as he has — no way.
I’m ready for a fight!
If this group of parasites is brought to power then I will spend much of my time undermining them in any way I am able.

My big question though: Why did the ever-incompetant McCain campaign take so long to unearth this?
Is this supposed to be the October Surprise? How many undecideds will actually learn of this before election day, and how many of those who do will actually be swayed?
