It has been rumored that Obama's henchmen have approached Busch's staff. The topic is that Obama has asked Busch, in the best interests of our country, to resign immediately after the election.
It is said that there would be a couple weeks for President Busch and his wife to collect all their things. Obama, it is said, has graciously offered to fly them to anywhere they coose!
Osam thinks he has this election sewed up. He is wrong.
McCain is going to snatch it away from Obama in a tight election! The Osama people will be up in arms!

A simple...phooey...baloney....crappola...whatever...I agree...the subject is really hard to swallow....read that man’s bio.....he seems like he is probably a really good guy....he may have heard this and wanted to alert people. He didn’t need to be personally attacked because he isn’t a HAHVAHD graduate (but, then, maybe he is). I was incorrect in suggesting the issue was the discussion....I needed to have stated the issue was the subject matter....but I didn’t graduate from one of those artsy fartsy schools, either.

I have been a member since 2004. I still don’t know how to post a subject. I don’t know how to use italics. I don’t know how to post pictures. I don’t know how to post a vanity. I do know how to read. I do know how to post a reply. I have been on this since 2004 because it is the best place for me to learn about issues. I don’t need to know about rudeness. I see that daily in my liberal family members who believe that insults are discussions. If I were this man, I’d take my opinions and run like hell to a site that treated me well....even if what I had to say was not accepted by everyone. Fortunately, for me...I’m not here to impress anyone...I’m here to learn and to be with people who share my beliefs and concerns. I’ve had my own kicks in the keester. I guess this election is very profound for me as it could be my last one...so, excuse me for believing we should rise above the liberal left and embrace one another in brotherhood (and sisterhood).

The poster in question certainly knows how to post a thread. But in 6 weeks and 12 threads he has not made even one comment. No one attacked him in the first 11. It was his spelling blunder (one that, IMHO, a real Republican would not have made) that got our attention.
I respect your intent to "embrace" everyone, even your enemies, but understand that there are conservatives here who do not.

“We” are merely examining the many inadequacies of the post. Free Republic is, in the final analysis, a place where ideas are discussed.
If the idea has few merits, it is within the bounds of reasoned discourse to examine the merits or lack thereof.

Anyone wanting to post an idea for discussion must, by definition, accept that the posted idea will be discussed. Should the idea have no merit, be the product of a grossly underinformed person, a mere Libtard rant, ad nauseam - then such lacks may (make that ‘will’) be discussed.
Having been critically analysed, even once given a week off by the AdMod (for a reason I never either understood of was able to get explained), I can honestly say that FR and my fellow FReepers have not always been receptive to all I posted.
But, I am not a Liberal, and thus do not believe we can always “Just get along”.
Lastly, humor is usually at someone’s expense. Analyse just about any joke and you will see why I make this point.
You seem like a nice, trusting person who takes people at their word. Ideally, that is the way the world should work.
