WFTV-Channel 9's Barbara West conducted a satellite interview with Sen. Joe Biden on Thursday. A friend says it's some of the best entertainment he's seen recently. What do you think?
West wondered about Sen. Barack Obama's comment, to Joe the Plumber, about spreading the wealth. She quoted Karl Marx and asked how Obama isn't being a Marxist with the "spreading the wealth" comment.
"Are you joking?" said Biden, who is Obama's running mate. "No," West said.
West later asked Biden about his comments that Obama could be tested early on as president. She wondered if the Delaware senator was saying America's days as the world's leading power were over.
"I don't know who's writing your questions," Biden shot back.
Biden so disliked West's line of questioning that the Obama campaign canceled a WFTV interview with Jill Biden, the candidate's wife.
"This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election," wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign.
McGinnis said the Biden cancellation was "a result of her husband's experience yesterday during the satellite interview with Barbara West."

WFTV news director Bob Jordan said, "When you get a shot to ask these candidates, you want to make the most of it. They usually give you five minutes."
Jordan said political campaigns in general pick and choose the stations they like. And stations often pose softball questions during the satellite interviews.
"Mr. Biden didn't like the questions," Jordan said. "We choose not to ask softball questions."
Jordan added, "I'm crying foul on this one."

Well, if we don’t give a crap what Joe “Plugs” Biden has to say (or stumble) why do we care what Jill “Dyejob” Biden has to say?
This is what all MSM should have been doing. I couldn’t watch the video I got a message it was unavailable. If it was as described, Biden lost up to 5% of the vote.

Ha ha. They only hurt themselves by doing that. Jill Biden's only events this whole weekend are in Florida. By cancelling her interview they lose big publicity for her rally, and make the Obama-Biden temper tantrum the news across Florida, rather than their "95%" message.
I still want to see Todd visit coal mines in VA, and auto plants in MI. It just shows what assclowns Steve Shit and Dick Davis are that they have wasted Todd Palin's working man appeal.

I have to say the interviewer was aggressive, but certainly no more than Katie Curic was to Sarah.
Biden was certainly taken off guard by the questions, but then he has been given softballs throughout the campaign, and therefore didn’t have a canned answer.
People are starting to question the MSM’s motives here, and the shift in the polls has just begun.
I guess it is safe to say it will be ok to watch WFTV-Channel 9. the local ABC affiliate in Central Florida this weekend WITHOUT having to look at THAT ONE and Plugs.

BTW-If Biden is trying to look like Captain Sulu for Halloween ,
he should comb his hair forward or get darker plugs.
I sent this to her. If the story is censored, I want her and the station to know it was taken down as an infraction of our First Amendment right to hear it.
The station is self-censoring due to Obama’s displeasure.
She can pass this along to management. I’m sure they will be reading some of them anyway.

Ms. West:
I understand there was an interview with Senator Biden. I would like to see that inverview.
It has been removed from the station web sight and a copy has been removed from You-Tube.
As I understand it, the Obama team wasn’t happy about that interview. I’d imagine the McCain team hasn’t been happy about some of theirs either, but I don’t know of a single one they have censored in it’s entirity.
Why are you folks willing to let Obama/Biden censor your news?
The guy isn’t even president, and he’s shutting down the First Amendment. And you folks seem to be letting him.
