I think the pollsters are now starting to fall in line with the REAL feeling of the country, BUT you can still subtract 5% off Ears numbers..

IMHO, McCain is ahead by 3-5 points at this time..

I agree. We can’t pick and choose the numbers we like or don’t like. But as long as another major pollster shows a close race, whether the numbers are even real or not, it gives McCain a boost and maybe makes the 0bama people more nervous. Then they are more apt to make mistakes. Some Republicans might lose hope (and not contribute, work, or vote) if they care convinced we will lose. This “keeps hope alive!” as Jesse used to say. ;)

This is bizarre. Is it from what is the day polled? It can’t be tonight because tonight hasn’t happened! Friday? George Washington won’t sample Friday nights because . . . GOP voters won’t answer the phone Friday nights.
