Control of the US executive branch for the next 4 years is a prize in which many hostile countries and forces are interested, and participating. I think among the least of the issues is foreign money awash in certain campaigns (Hsu should have been a tip-off to those that remember 1996).
I personally suspect some dominos were sent tumbling in sequence to provoke a financial credit crisis shortly before the election, knowing it would work against mccain. (the US financial system was vulnerable in any event, but timing is everything). For those who suspect soros, may I offer the names russia and china? Soros is not the biggest player in this game.
