Is this too extreme of a question?
Not much of a difference but that “modern socialist” believe that revolution is not essential to the ideal for workers to control the state.
Obama is an enigma, although he appears to be a blend of fascism and communism.
I agree. It always amazes me when the left and the elitists glorify Fidel Castro and Che Guevara. They fall for the propaganda, thinking that they will be the ones in power if they follow in their footsteps . . . They have no idea of what it all really means . . .
All Bill really wanted was the goodies - the skirts, the TV appearances, the fawning press. Obama is hollow on the inside and is looking for power to define himself. He has always gravitated to vicious radicals, such as Wright or Ayers, because they give him a sort of mold in which to cast his undefined personality.
I don’t think he’s really soft, and in fact every time he has been challenged (such as by other Dem candidates) he gets quite vicious. But he doesn’t really have a well-developed program of his own, and he needs these people around him to define him and supply his program. Looking at them, I’d say this is not promising for the rest of us.
Yes, he’s a communist or a socialist.
No, it’s not too extreme a question.
The viciousness can be perceived, however. I see it in his eyes, his occasional slip of the tongue. Subtle and non-verbal, but there it is, just below the surface.
He enables his surrogates to act upon his viciousness - the attacks on Staney Kurtz, the attacks on Joe the Plumber, the impending attacks on this reporter.
Do you find it interesting that Obama supporters seem to have a green light and have taken license in defacing cars, vandalizing McCain offices, tearing down McCain/Palin signs, tearing down the sacred, time honored institution of voter registration via the criminal ACORN? Not only is this anarchistic behavior tolerated, it is condoned and tacitly encouraged.
Would you rather die by firing squad or the needle?
Pelosi and Reed will be quick to plumment the nation into a total socialistist/marxist government.

Far too many of our fellow citizens are insulated from society. They do not understand much of the world beyond their 4 walls. Public education is an abysmal failure. It has not taught our children to become patriots. They are taught, rather, to be selfish, immoral louts. Drug abuse, promiscuity and a penchant for criminality are the petals on the public education flower.
For these reasons and much, much more of the same, a preponderance of electors will vote to install a man of no known character whose only friends are anarchists. We will reap what we have sown.
Call him a Marxist. It covers both.
Obama is a heretical Christian and a Marxist,
precisely
I would think more on the lines of Warsaw, the French Underground, and the first Civil war rather than running off to Mexico or wherever. This nation’s too big and too many hard-working people stand to suffer if we let it go into the hands of the extreme left.
___________
Fits my thinking too. Stand and fight is what this country was founded upon. It is time we learned that patriotism is intolerant of all forms of tyranny.
Yes.
Once her days as an active terrorist were over, Bernardine Dohrn was employed by prestigious law firm Sidley & Austin from 1984 to 1988. Dohrn had been hired by Howard Trienens, the head of the firm and an associate of Thomas G. Ayers, Bill Ayers father. It is unclear whether Obama knew the former fugitive Dohrn through Sidley & Austin but there is no doubt that, by the time Obama joined Sidley & Austin as a summer associate, Obama had known Bill Ayers for two years through their involvement in Alliance for Better Chicago Schools.
But 0bama isn't a Marxist. /s
