Me included initially. I wanted to see confirmation, but I initially believed it. Mostly because I have no doubt that fringe Obama supporters are capable of doing this. But everything always needs to be fact checked and confirmed.

I don't think anyone on the thread didn't think Obamanutz weren't capable of anything this crazy just that the story had a bunch of holes in it that just didn't make sense.

There was/is nothing wrong with initially believing a story like this because of the Obamaniacs but when some on the thread started validly questioning these holes many were almost shouted down.

So when some of the Freepers said they needed to eat crow, I say, forget about it and laugh. Others are obstinate and cannot admit they let their common sense be overridden by politics just a little. Nothing wrong with that, everybody does it to some extent.

The bigger issue is does the MSM blow this up into a race question and sink McCain/Palin.

I think she was probably disturbed. It’s hard to tell what part of her story is fiction and what part are shreds of the truth (where she goes to school, or anything about her).
