Moms 4 McCain & Palin Announces
KATHLEEN PARKER HAS DONE IT AGAIN!
Again, today in Townhall.com Ms. Parker attacks McCain - Palin.
Parker's psychobabble drivel, for which she is eminently unqualified to conjure up (no self-respecting psychiatrist would attempt such an embarrassing display of know-it-all hubris without a series of clinical examinations of the "patient"), is an embarrassment for Townhall to grant space on its otherwise creditable site. As long as Parker has chosen attractive women as her subject, she might have been better off examining and "diagnosing" how the self-loathing of women causes them to be distrustful of other (especially attractive) women, discounting their true achievements. Or...as long as we are talking about women, history has shown throughout all societies that the powerless never support the powerless.
So, just who should be the subject of the analysis here - McCain or Parker?

One does not have to be a psychoanalyst to reckon that McCain was smitten. By no means am I suggesting anything untoward between McCain and his running mate. Palin is a governor, after all. She does have an executive resume, if a thin one. And she's a natural politician who connects with people. But there can be no denying that McCain's selection of her over others far more qualified -- and his mind-boggling lack of attention to details that matter -- suggests other factors at work. His judgment may have been clouded by ... what?
Science provides clues. A study in Canada, published in New Scientist in 2003, found that pretty women foil men's ability to assess the future. "Discounting the future," as the condition is called, means preferring immediate, lesser rewards to greater rewards in the future.

re: Romneybots
Some Romneybots are taking particular offence to the selection of Sarah Palin over their guy, even if they don’t admit that is a central motivating factor for them. The PUMAs of the Republican Party in 08? Trying to knock Palin out as a rival to their guy for 2012? Parker and also former MA Gov. William Weld, who just announced his endorsement of the Obamanation.

Well, I've been a woman for 64 years, and my best-looking years are far behind me, but I can't understand women being so viciously jealous of Gov. Palin. I love her!!! I think she's gorgeous, and I admire her for everything she's accomplished. But then again, I'm happily married to Mr. Inspectorette - maybe Kathleen and Peggy are lonely and bitter ladies who sleep alone.
I can't wait to see our Sarah as Vice-President of the United States. Have already marked my mail-in ballot (Oregon) for her and Sen. McCain.

Same here. Never read two words from her.
Now that I see how she goes about making a name for herself, I understand why.

RomneyBOT alert. I wouldn't be surprized if Romney makes a big push in the next couple days to get the 0ne elected.

I think you hit it. Peggy Noonan is 58, divorced and living in Manhattan with one 'older' kid. Parker is married, but that doesn't mean anything.

At the McCain/Palin rally in Troy, OH yesterday, Tracey Lawerence sang ‘These are the times you find out who your friends are’
It strikes the right note, IMHO.

I was kind of thinking the same thing.
The last time I heard her on Laura Ingraham's show, when she talked it sounded like she was trying to imitate William F Buckley. That was very very weird.

It's simple , the older guy picks the younger woman to take the ride of her life. This is a big no no for the old ones . The new woman supplants the old , it's the way it works. Parker is irrelevant .

Look at the bright side:
Peggy Noonan and Kathleen Parker will get the Mo Dowd treatment for the next sixteen years.

The “Maverick’s Tragic Flaw” link points to Parker’s first Palin column, not the new one.

Her column made for interesting speculation, but I didn’t see anything spiteful about it.

By the way, I still plan to vote for McCain-Palin to help defeat the Obamao.

The day Parker can get herself elected Dog Catcher, I’ll take her advice on Palin more seriously. But just a little.

On the same page of her article at “townhall.com” you can click on “kathleen parker’s e-mail”
Another freeper said you can go to NRO and email her without having to provide your home address.
