The Pennsylvania Democrat who has sued Sen. Barack Obama demanding he prove his American citizenship – and therefore qualifications to run for the office of president – has confirmed he has a recording of a telephone call from the senator's paternal grandmother confirming his birth in Kenya.
The issue of Obama's birthplace, which he states is Honolulu in 1961, has been raised enough times that his campaign website has posted an image purporting to be of his "Certification of Live Birth" from Hawaii.
But Philip J. Berg, a former deputy attorney general for Pennsylvania, told the Michael Savage talk radio program tonight that the document is forged, a publicized newspaper notice announcing Obama's birth in Honolulu could have been faked and he has a tape recording he will be releasing over the next few days.
"This has been a real sham he's pulled off for the last 20 months," Berg told Savage. "I'll release it [the tape] in a day or two, affidavits from her talking to a certain person. I heard the tape. She was speaking [to someone] here in the United States."
He said the telephone call was from Obama's paternal grandmother affirming she "was in the delivery room in Kenya when he was born Aug. 4, 1961."

Berg is different... he’s not selling a book.
He is the plaintiff in a lawsuit, and his frontline is the court system. He is a democratic lawyer hell bent on defending the constitution. He is waiting on a judgement before he releases his info. I heard him on Savage this evening... he sounds like the real deal to me.
If this doesn’t break by Tuesday, i’ll rejoin the ranks of skeptics. Its probably going to break tomorrow if not over the weekend.
An audio tape wouldn’t be huge. How could you prove it was Obama’s grandmother? In any case the media wouldn’t care. Remember Gennifer Flowers audio tape proving Clinton lied on 60 minutes? The only way the Left Stream Media reports any of this is if Berg wins in court.
You’d think a citizen would have the right to know if the guy who is going to run the country is defrauding all of us.

His “stringing along” is what convicts him.
even if everything he says is true about Obama’s birth certificate....and granny’s on tape...who cares? Dems aren’t gonna dump Obama now. It’s well past time to do anything. There’s less than 2 weeks left. If this was to come out, it would have been a little more effective LAST YEAR.

Also, how in the heck are we going to know it is Granny Obama’s voice.
Someone should be over in Kenya right now with Granny Obama and the brother that lives in a shack cutting a 527 commercial.

The press would then say you can’t believe any of the rumors about Obama, it’s all VRWC nonsense!
No, if he is legit, he can gain points by stringing it along.
But I tend to think he is not that smart, but the DNC can be evil smart. So it is better to be careful here.
No disagreement there. I couldn’t tell you when Berg became aware of the issue, so I have no way to know if this was sat on or not. I am glad, however, that he’s been hitting it hard for the last two months ... I hope other legal plaintiffs file in other states! Every day that Obama lets this linger and allows it to grow legs, he hurts his own polling numbers ...
