It’s my understanding that the cops, if entering a home, will kill the dog first, just to avoid any problems from a protective, territorial animal. Tough, indeed, but you can see their point.
By his testicles.
With piano wire.
Here is the e-mail I sent to the Sherrif.
“can you guys come shoot my neighbor’s dog? It keeps barking and I noticed on the news that you specialize in this sort of thing. Keep up the good work.”
No, actually I don't see their point but then I don't think I'll ever get used to a jackboot against my throat.
Sorry, I don't see their point. Why not just shoot the perp, you know, in case he is insolent.
This dog looked like an Aerdale ,,, not one of the common “bad boy” breeds ... The cop was said to have stopped to ask directions ??? I don’t get that at all ,, a patrolman in a small town doesn’t know every single road in the county?? doesn’t pass the smell test... and he had a relative on a ride along... I think the dogs owner had it 100% right ,, he was playing big bad-ass for his relative... pretty typical ,, should make him wear a pink uniform until he decides to quit.
Watch the video and then tell me you can see their point.
....Just when I thought that I had seen everything on here....
It seems that their are a number of people on this thread, including me, that can’t see their point.
This imbecile stopped in her driveway to “ask directions”.
The DOG was doing what he was supposed to do. It was HIS HOME.
You know , I used to respect cops, but this crap happens far too often to just blame it on a few bad apples. I think its a whole mindset LEO has now. The dog was bounding out with its tail wagging. It didn’t look like a threat to me. If cops feel so threatened anymore then maybe they should quit the force and become furniture salesmen.
BTW, if some neanderthal with a badge ever shot MY dog, a lawsuit and internal affairs would be the least of his worries.
Saw this last.
No reason for this. Could have gotten in the car, avoided the whole thing.
This guy has terrible judgment.
It didn’t take long for a JBT boot-licker to turn up, I see.
What would happen if you stopped at a cop's house to ask for directions and shoot his dog instead?
About 10 years ago, while working as the Military Police Duty Officer on Yongsan Garrison in Korea, where there are many family housing units, I saw a stray Airedale wandering around on post in a pouring monsoon. I exited my vehicle and the dog approached me. I checked it for tags (none), put him in the back of my patrol vehicle and took him back to the MP station. By the time I got there, the owners had already called to report him missing.
At no time did I feel compelled to shoot him.
I don't buy his story!! Police cars are equipped with radios - so why stop at a random house for directions!!
What a chickensh*t puke. He should be charged, convicted and fired.
Nope, sorry. I can’t see that at all. No judgement is involved. Cops kill all dogs as a matter of policy. Kinda like those school supervisors that kick a kid out of school for having a blade from a pencil sharpener that broke.
Every time I start thinking of giving to cop charities again another episode like this happens.
I guess that’s it for me and the FOP/Troopers, etc.
