Most strong arm guys don't take the time to carve anything... they might cut off a nose or ear, but actually put a letter on someone's face.
hmmmmmm color me skeptical.

Thanks Dave. Thankfully it looks like it really wasn’t ‘carved’ but scratched and she refused medical help if I recall from the story. Read it earlier today.
If she were taking a picture of herself in a mirror, the camera would be in the picture.
If she took the picture herself, a web cam or a cell phone camera would be a better bet.
My father was a polygraph operator...he brought it home every time he thought I was up to something. Yes, I was interrogated as a kid....just like you saw in that movie.
In this case, I’d believe the operator. It takes a hard person to beat the machine with a competent operator. I doubt a young female could beat the odds, unless she already has a record of lying about important things.
So, is this a “hate crime”?
I don’t know why the B looks so neat. I don’t really think it does. I do know that it’s not actually that easy to cut skin with a knife. The bladed edge of a scalpel requires some pressure to cut. It seems like a lot of people are expecting the B to look like it was made by Zorro. The truth is we have no idea what type of knife was used (if it even was a knife).
And I do apologize for being unclear. I wasn’t suggesting you had just joined. I was accurately stating that you seem to be saying the same thing as many of them. One of the most vocal “she did it to herself” people on these threads has been here for one year but only active for less than a month and in that time has really done nothing but complain about Palin. I’m not saying you are a troll as I can see you’ve been here a while, but you are encouraging them.
I personally have no idea what happened, so I’m waiting to see what (if anything) comes of it. If we don’t have enough information then we shouldn’t rush to judgment one way or the other. I’m not saying that you are, but a lot certainly are.
Love the reference, but I think you’re seriously overestimating their intelligence. Skynet doesn’t want to be compared to the average leftie.

I've seen a lot of bruises on the face after being punched and punching. Her eyes should be swollen shut or at least the bridge of her nose, if her glasses hit her midface. No flattening of the nose, blood from the nose and the "B" is really neat.
Hard to do in a flurry of attacking somebody. Maybe if you had time, weren't worried about getting caught. But if you're stomping somebody and pummeling them with fists and feet... kinda hard to calm down and scratch a letter on a soft cheek.
just weird that she didn't want to see the doctors either. Female cut on the face and beaten not wanting a doctor to "fix" or attend to her injuries.. ... just odd.
If, as she reportedly states, he was sitting on her chest and pinning her hands, the B would still be as in the photo if he were reaching around to the right side of her face with his right hand. His elbow would be at the top of her head.
After I saw the picture this morning of her on the news and the backward B, I became even more suspicious.
Personally, I don’t care if it’s a hoax because I believe it will reinforce the doubts many “undecideds” are having about Hussein (despite what the polls say). This election is far too important to worry about being “nice” or “fair”, as I believe it is our moral responsibility to do whatever it takes to keep this EVIL man out of office (his speech on the floor of assembly against the “Born Alive Protection Act” is indicative of the evil that lurks in his heart). It may be another case of “fake” but “accurate” and I DON’T see this hurting McCain if it’s a hoax, althought the MSMedia will be telling you it is hurting him.

Hey, I’ve got a great idea for the MSMedia: Perhaps everytime a woman reports a rape in this country, she should face the same scrutiny as this woman! Again, I don’t care if it’s a hoax, we can file it under “fake but accurate”...
How will it hurt McCain’s campaign? Finally, after ignoring the laundry list of violence/vandalism against McCain supporters, something that is VERY PLAUSIBLE in the minds of most Middle-Americans gets a headline. Fact is, there are some very negative stereotypes about Obama and his supporters that will be reinforced by this story and NO retraction is going to put the genie back into the bottle for Obama. The e-mails have gone out, the message boards have been lit up and this story is out there. The wishy-washy that had some doubts about Obama will be tipped in large numbers. The media will release a poll that is a total lie, saying how much this hurt McCain but the fact is, I believe this hurts Obama no matter what.

Your dad sounds like quite the character. I bet that sucked being interrogated by your dad like that. Did you figure out how to beat him? Great story!
If she did this to herself, I suspect I won’t be alone here on FR in thoroughly condemning her.
OTOH, if her story holds up, Obama should be forced to not only apologize, but to call off his thugs from getting “in their face”.
What side of her face does the police report say was cut?
Which pic is correct? It will immediately resolve this.
