I am traveling next week. Although I hold a valid Georgia Firearms License, the states I am traveling through do not all have a reciprocal agreement with the State of Georgia.
And my destination has some of the strictest gun laws in the country with some heavy penalties.
I have never taken my firearm on previous trips because I am a law-abiding person and I do not want to face criminal prosecution.
I am seriously considering throwing all that out the window this time. I am deathly afraid what might be in store after November 4th, especially if McCain-Palin prevail.

I know that it sounds cut-throat, but McCain could use this, saying something like, "Senator Obama has called on his supporters to 'get in our faces' and now we find out that a young woman, a loyal-campaign worker who is a volunteer, was violently attacked and the letter 'B' was literally carved in her face. Senator Obama, is this the kind of 'in their faces' that you were talking about? I deplore this violence and eagerly anticipate Obama's statement deploring this violence in his name"

Buy a hand gun so you can carry it with you..I have a few and one I keep in my purse when I go out or travel..I can’t take it into places that have signs on them but can carry it with me..If I am waiting in the car for my husband when he goes into a store I always keep the gun in my lap..I will not be caught unaware and I will shoot it..Make sure you keep the guns out of the reach of your children or grand children..
Those will be the talking points, and all of them will follow suit...

As I said on the other thread, prayers for this young woman and her family. This is exactly the kind of hateful thuggery that Obama encouraged against people who didn’t agree with him. This is beyond disgusting!
And it shows the utter contempt that Obama and his supporters have against women who don’t toe their line. Whoever did this ought to be jailed, punished, and have their faces posted on the web for all to see.

This is a very violent crime and if this was done by an Obama supporter then Obama can forget about winning Pennsylvania, its not going to happen after something like this. Right now I think it would be wise to find out more details before jumping to conclusions however. It is possible this attack had nothing to do with the either campaign.
