It wouldn't do any good. She does not have enough base support (PUMA) to carry her. The Hussein nuts will not vote for her and may not participate in the election. Some may riot, some drink the Kool Aid and others will walk aimlessly about while keying SUV's.
It takes him 3 days to decide to go see his grandmother, but only 12 hours to yank Biden from public view.
Hey! It's hard to make all those decisions choosing between "present" or "absent," But Obama has a LOT of experience with them.

If Hillary really wanted revenge, she could string Obama along until he dismissed Biden, and then she could simply decline the invite to be the replacement VP candidate.

Biden is in Colorado today and tomorrow. I just heard on the local radio that there are tickets available still (one event is in a local high school gym and tickets are still available LOL)
I’m really torn about the sick Grandma thing. It would be awful to suspect Obama of bad intent, only to find out his Grandmother is really at death’s door.
But then I remember all those “fainting spells” during the early days of Obama’s campaign on the trail, where he always seemed so concerned and just happened to have an extra bottle of water stashed behind the lectern. It would be like him to play on public sympathy just after this Gaffe, and do so in a way which would look bad if McCain continued to campaign.

Hussein can’t even trust his own vice presidential nominee enough to leave him on the campaign trail? Why should WE trust him? And what does this say about The One for choosing this imbecile in the first place? I had to get that in there after what they said about Sarah.
One was that Obama was going to make some unpopular decisions and that his supporters would need to stand firmly behind him.
The OTHER was that Obama was going to be tested with an “international crisis”.
This is hardly a bold statement to make. Bill Clinton faced an international terrorist attack on the WTC in the first year of his presidency. It was then followed by a series of terrorist attacks on US ships, embassies, and plots. GW Bush faced an international terrorist attack on the WTC in the first year of his presidency but the response was different (it was considered an act of war rather than a criminal nuisance, Jean Kerry said we would have to get used to a tolerable nuisance level of terrorist attacks on the US).
So the terrorists will try to hit somewhere, on US property, inside the US or outside.
BUT WHAT ABOUT JOE'S OTHER CLAIM, ABOUT MAKING SOME UNPOPULAR DECISIONS? We should be discussing the hidden agenda on the air.
Express sympathy for his opponent’s family, but then say this election is important to a lot of other families and grannies out there.
Sorry, but Obama is calling a timeout because he’s getting hammered on the campaign trail. This is just a ploy. And frankly, if he really wants the benefit of the doubt, he should’ve reigned in his minions when they were digging into every nook and cranny of Gov. Palin’s life and making outrageous claims about her.

1. Get the video for this statement:
