I’m really torn about the sick Grandma thing. It would be awful to suspect Obama of bad intent, only to find out his Grandmother is really at death’s door.
But then I remember all those “fainting spells” during the early days of Obama’s campaign on the trail, where he always seemed so concerned and just happened to have an extra bottle of water stashed behind the lectern. It would be like him to play on public sympathy just after this Gaffe, and do so in a way which would look bad if McCain continued to campaign.
Express sympathy for his opponent’s family, but then say this election is important to a lot of other families and grannies out there.
Sorry, but Obama is calling a timeout because he’s getting hammered on the campaign trail. This is just a ploy. And frankly, if he really wants the benefit of the doubt, he should’ve reigned in his minions when they were digging into every nook and cranny of Gov. Palin’s life and making outrageous claims about her.

Don’t waste your time on guilt. Hussein has already made fun of his white grandmother (”typical white person”), so if anyone should be feeling guilt it’s Obama. He doesn’t give a crap about her; he’s using her. Even if she is at death’s door, he’s still using her.
Granny can’t be that bad off....he’s not leaving till Thurday after a campaign speech in Indy.
