Barack Obama leaving campaign trail for a few days to visit sick grandmother in Hawaii. She has just been released from the hospital. Barack Obama and his grandmother have been close through the years.

She wasnt close to death when he went on summer break in Hawaii. Most people don’t go from nothing wrong to close to death so quickly unless she had something and didn’t know until it was too late to be treated. He’s taking 3 days off. I just don’t trust him at all. Three days during the week, not on the weekend. The courts are open on weekdays.

If granny is sick and dies, Barack will add it to his campaign. Just like his mother, his grandmother couldn’t get the health care she needed. (well, he’s loaded. Why doesn’t he help his own?)

She was released from the hospital last week and is residing at home.

I'm not going to read a whole lot into this information or speculate on her condition but I will forever wonder why Obama didn't fly back to visit and comfort her while in the hospital. Sometimes it's difficult for 'regular folks' to do such things but Obama has the means. He and his wife ought to have found the time to visit....instead of munching on lobsters, caviar and swilling Bolingers at the Waldorf-Astoria.

So a couple of weeks ago when America’s economy was tanking and we were in a real crisis requiring leadership in Washington, Obama was a no-show until the President summoned him and the Democratic leadership allowed the JUNIOR senator a photo op in the President’s meeting.

Now, Grandma is out of the hospital, indicating that the worst could possibly be over for her ailment and he is headed to Hawaii?

I really hope she is okay, but you can tell a lot about her son (Obama) from the way he has reacted to these two crises in his life.
