First of all, Bill Kristol reported this over 2 months ago and Powell issued strong denials at the time. The media was laying an October surprise in cooperation with Powell and Obama.

One thing about Powell that most folks don't know is that he has received big $$$ from the Sauds since he retired from the Army, except when he was Sec. of State. He is bought and paid for by the same folks who are surreptitiously funding the Obama campaign.

Funny thing, Powell doesn't realize he's as despised as much as Bush.

Hey! It’s just as big a surprise as the L.A. Times endorsement that also dropped this weekend...uh, okay, point taken.

Well, I have lost all respect for Powell now, as far as I am concerned, he is a traitor.
Pigment over Principle, I like that.

The whole Powell interview was just more socialism. He talked about spending more and more on social programs despite the fact all the money in the world won't work. The ghetto is the ghetto and will always be the ghetto and people who want out can get out anytime they choose so long as they have an honest job. He blew William Ayers off as the rest of the Libs do, just a passing face in Obama’s life.

This is what you get with Affirmative Action.
I wonder if the left will now forgive him for his part in trying to cover up My Lai? They couldn’t spare any effort at trashing him a few years ago.

I'd bet that there was some negotiating done prior to this endorsement.
If Obama wins (which I still doubt), there will be a WAR CRIMES trial against the Bush administration. Seeing that Powell is up in years as a retired individual, I imagine that Powell's endorsement was a trade off for not being charged in the show trial.
Either way, it still reflects a man of weak character and poor judgment. And he was considered a great General? I don't think so.

So Powell lied and people died?
Didn’t he sit his azz before the world and tell us what a threat Iraq was?

Colin Powell just wants to be accepted by blacks again. This is the easy way.

What makes you believe Condi Rice will support Obama? Or anyone?
Has been been seen dancing too?

He is bought and paid for by the same folks who are surreptitiously funding the Obama campaign. Dirty Saudi money is par for the course in Washington. Powell is not at all different in that capacity - just another notch in the "extended family" of the Sheikhs. Same goes for dirty money from Soros, Goldman Sachs, etc. Our glorious leaders are scum - bought and paid for by enemies foreign and domestic.
What we are witnessing is the abyss gazing back. Influence is a two-way street. The only shocking thing is that the idealists who thought otherwise were competent enough to retain the reins of power for more than a century.

If a conservative black man endorsed him that would be one thing.
Powell is a major liberal RINO. Natural move for him.

It’s about race and only race.
I will not be the least bit surprised in the coming days if Condi does the same.
They are so close that can taste it.
