I feel the same way about John Glenn.

He a endorses radical anti-war leftist over an American hero. Nice talking point.
To: GoMonster
So what? America never liked him anyway.

Whatever... Review his record.
Powell was a lousy military officer... He was a lousy Chairman of the Joint Chiefs...and, he was a really lousy Sec of State...
Why would we expect him to do anything than support someone in this campaign who would be a lousy President and Commander In Chief?
If he's anything, Powell is consistent.

Dems are delirious. They think America cares what Powell says. Wrong. According to a lot of people around here yesterday, Powell's opinion DID matter. Link
What a difference a day makes.
To: GoMonster
Powell was always a man of the media, and he always will be. He is in the DC cocktail party hall of fame.

Watch the media play this up over the next couple of days.As I predicted yesterday, they will build this up and drag it on for longer than they did the "Tim Russert Media Extravaganza".

Honestly, although the media will have vapors about this, the average person will say, “Well, he’s black, so that’s why he’s supporting Obama.”
To: GoMonster
Maybe George Bush should endorse 0bama too.
0bama would best carry on Bush’s Big Government legacy.

The media will play it up but it will just make foreign policy be back in the news where McCain lays out Obama.

At least this election has opened my eyes to a lot of phonies in our party - I think we can see why the GOP has been on it’s death bed for the last 20 years - these people have been in charge! It’s time to either do the merciful thing & put an end to the republican party - or start a whole new party from scratch. A party of true conservatives, the American party.

Peter Johnson Jr. asks some DNC spokesperson—did Colin Powell make a mistake on the Iraq War??? The DNC guy stuttered a bit how he'll let Powell respond, that he's turning the page looking toward the future. Yeah, looking for a job.

Powell just proved once again what a disloyal, dishonest, and opportunist he really is.
Nice to see him finally showing the rest of the world what his true colors are.
