One thing about Powell that most folks don’t know is that he has received big $$$ from the Sauds since he retired from the Army, except when he was Sec. of State. He is bought and paid for by the same folks who are surreptitiously funding the Obama campaign.

So Powell has joined the 99% of Blacks who are voting for Obama. Who is racist?

And what a coward. He waited till the eleventh hour when the polls say Obama is going to win.

ABC Roundtable —

Gergon: “It will be a terrible loss for the Republicans, McCain should be the happy warrior and stump for candidates for Congress.”

Newt: “Should run against Pelosi and Reid and, as the WSJ said, tell the voters what they will lose under the three of them”

Braizelle: “Obama will have hard decisions as to what to cut with the enormity of the deficit.”
News Flash Donna: Obama won’t cut programs (military excepted); he’ll raise taxes!

Colin Powell is a social liberal which is why he never ran for president, he has said he doesn’t want any more GOP Supreme Court appointments. I think that is all you need to know.

Last time I looked social policy is not a reason anyone admires Colin Powell.

Gergon on ABC: Powell’s endorsement is the most important of the campaign so far. Rest of panel agrees. They are so out of touch.

Turning back to Fox...

ABC Roundtable: Obama has raised more money than any in history and more than the total of Bush and Kerry in 2004.
McCain earlier on FNS questioned where that all that money was coming from.

Lots of people called Bill Clinton the “First Black President” also...and we all know that is not true...BUT the point is...the blacks very much related to Slick Willie.

I think that’s the point of the Muslim connection....although he may not be a devout muslim (personally I think he’s an atheist who believes there is no God greater than he)....he can be viewed as sympathizing with their cause. That’s why the Muslim connection is so important.

And how about the Novak-Armitage affair. Wasn’t it cool that Powell kept quite while the media roosted Bush over a lie, Powell new it wasn’t true all along. Now that’s what you call CHARACTER.

Who says Powell is to be admired. I think he is nothing but a liar. He lied about Iraq’s WMDs, in fact he sat before the whole world lying. Bush lied, Powell lied. How is that to be admired, just because he said oops. There are no do-overs in wars, or war votes. It’s not a game.

What exactly has Powell done to admire? And now we know he is a racist as well. Is that admirable? Who could possibly believe that Obama is the best choice when it comes to what is presumed to be Powell’s expertise. You would conclude from this that Colin Powell never understood Communism, and he now endorses communsim because Obama and the media hides the truth. So Powell isn’t very smart, right?

Powell exposes himself and it’s not transformational.

LOL! What a great idea that is. Bush could say, “Ya know, I'm three times MORE popular than the Pelosie/Reid Congress AND I believe that Obama will only ADD to all the social programs that I, the Compassionate Conservative believe needs doing. So I George W. Bush, endorse Senator Government, B. Hussein Obama for President of these here United States of America.”

Powell used ayers and sarah as his reasons and so called robo calls and comments made at rallies which mccain repudiated as his reasons. I know he is lying and those are all just exucses. its about race with him sad too.

Oh sure...yet having the VP nominee from the Dem party speaking, campagning and endorsing him pales in comparison? I’m talking about Joe Lieberman - a sitting US Senator. Colin-oscopy can’t hold a candle to Lieberman’s enthusiastic support of McCain/Palin, IMO.

I missed that, as I honestly don't follow ABC at all. Thanks for the update.

It really is about time they started questioning that. I know there have been rumblings about the bundled donations. They need to look at that like they are the voter fraud.

Finally!!

This should be a lesson to both Bush AND McCain, and ANY other republican who believes in “Reaching across the Isle”.

Who is next?

Someone should play this http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=cxL8NcNACBY&feature=related for the Perfume Prince and ask this guy "why did you endorse Obama because he is black? Isn't that racist, you sure as hell don't care for soldiers and civilians when you vote for Obama, so what else could it be?"

Bobble-head pronouncements like that abound with the DBM daily. This is a total snoozer.

Why not just keep quiet? What is Powell trying to achieve here?

Its all about the Benjamins. Powell's current gig is as a public speaker. By upping his moderate/liberal bona fides with an Obama endorsement which basically denounces his entire time in W's cabinet, he increases his potential income via an enlarged speaking pool by 1000%. Liberal universities that would never have hired him to speak as Bush's former Sec. of State will now bust a nut trying to get him to visit their campuses. Boolah, boolah, boolah, its all about the MOOLAH.
