Kerry wasn’t outspending Bush 4 to 1. Kerry wasn’t on the airwaves 24/7.

Did Bush ever visit NC?

The travels of the candidates say more than the posted polls.

Bill Ayers’ Friend in NH, PA, & MN is a good thing.

McCain in MO, NC, VA, IN... Not so good.

In my mind this election boild down to one or two questions. Is the country so angry at president Bush that they are willing to turn it over to a known Marxist? Is the hatred of Bush THAT great?

Yes. Yes.

While I agree the country IS angry at Bush, I DO NOT agree that they are willing to turn it over to Obama.

What makes you think that people seeing Obama is getting him votes.

Some of the trolls on here are getting quite desperate. Even with Edwards on the ticket Bush still kicked the Dems right where it counts.

McCain is spending no money in NC. There is no way NC or VA go Dem. Never. Liberals can pipe dream, but it isn’t going to happen.

Obama’s only hope is Ohio and NM. Of course he still has to win Pennsylvania, which my gut says he won’t, what with all those racists out west.

I have to admit I was feeling pretty good yesterday. It’s like a roller coaster. Today he pulls in 100,000 in St. Louis. Remarkably three quarters of them were white. It’s like the whole country’s gone mad — young, old, black, white, rich, poor — nothing in this guys past matters. I feel like the only people speaking for us are Sarah and Joe the plumber.

“I starting to see McCain Ads alot since Friday.”

Does this mean the McCain ad surge has started?

And the Lord Jesus Christ. Don't lose faith, I know I'm right there with you. But I have to believe the only report I will believe is the report of the Lord. So don't give up. THERE are literally millions of Christians FASTING and praying for our nation and the election. God favors those who honor the life of the innocent. God will reward our base for the good deeds President Bush and our military did for Iraqi people. Innocent folk who were being shredded to pieces in a meat grinder, and all those horrendous atrocities committed by HUSSEIN. GOD will not forget! Be of good courage!! WE WILL WIN!!

I’m hardly a troll. I’ve been here since 9/11. I took a break during the infighting here while the Republican primaries were going on. I came back because there is no place like FR. People here are amazing fighters for the conservative cause. I saw this chilling video here this morning and I asked myself — how can Obama not be disqualified from seeking the presidency? How can we not be 10 points ahead running a hero against a radical? It’s all surreal to me.

Has Shuler openly endorsed McCain? That is stunning. So where were the big headlines on that? Ha ha. Of course though when liberal Republicans support 0bama it is big news.

Okay, so add NC to the list. Thanks for the ping. Has his surge started? I presume so, but I don't know. Only McCain and his staff can verify if this is actually part of that publicly announced $160 million purse. But we're nearly inside two weeks to go.

But for all the folks complaining Sen. McCain's not advertising, it's simply not accurate. He's advertising where he thinks he needs to. So I now know of spots in VA, NC, WI, MN, south FL, and based on allocations I presume PA (but can't be sure). Plus one FReeper in TX saw some new ads, so we assumed that was part of a national ad buy. I bet he's now or soon will be on the airwaves in other key areas like NH, OH, CO, NV and NM. Maybe MO.

Plus I'm aware the NRA is dropping about $40 million in battleground states, and I know of a couple 527s that are active in NV, CO, MI, NC, and LA.
