Washington, DC -- Eduardo Verastegui, the Hispanic heartthrob and star of the movie Bella, that resonated with millions of pro-life Americans last year, has endorsed John McCain. Verastegui says McCain is head and shoulders better on abortion issues than Barack Obama.
"John McCain is the only candidate for president that shares my values of life," Verastegui said in a statement LifeNews.com received. "He truly recognizes that we are all God's children."

I have never heard of the guy until now.
For the ast 15 years or so he has been very big as the romantic lead on the telenovelas (soaps) in Mexico and on Spanish-speaking TV in the US. It doesn’t hurt that he is quite hunkalicious, if I may say so without blushing.
Those who are more graphic-savvy than I am are invited to post some pictorial evidence of that last assertion.
WHO?!?!?! This is the fellow behind the movie “Bella”. You ought to search for him on YouTube. He has done tremendous work for the Pro-Life movement... and he’s not hard to look at either! If I knew how to post a picture, I would... Anyone, anyone????
My daughter and I met him on Tuesday when he stumped for McCain here in Colorado Springs. He gave an inspiring, heartfelt speech and said he went four years without work because of his moral views.

Exactly. He is also very proud to be from Mexico but he said people need to come here legally. He was adamant about that fact. He is a faithful, upstanding guy, approachable too.
I saw this movie for the first time this morning and I have never been so emotionally moved by a movie. It’s changed my perspective on life.
