Palin warns Ohio crowd about Obama, ACORN links

WEST CHESTER, Ohio – Sarah Palin returned to Ohio today test-driving a new message against Barack Obama: Don’t “turn the Buckeye State into the ACORN state.”

The GOP vice presidential running mate did her best to link Obama with the well-publicized problems of the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now related to voter registration.

Palin called on Obama to release all his campaign’s communications with the group. And the Alaska governor contrasted the GOP campaign, which she said won’t tolerate fraud, with that of the Democrats, who she said refuse to disavow ACORN’s activities.

The Obama campaign has distanced itself from ACORN, noting their voter registration efforts have been separate in the general election campaign.

Palin’s message came in an area that she and McCain don’t just need to win, but win big if they hope to win the White House. Butler County and the other “collar counties” around Cincinnati more than provided President Bush’s victory margin in Ohio four years ago. McCain has signaled his interest in the region several times, from a phone call to Butler County Republicans the night he clinched the nomination to his decision to announce his selection of Palin in nearby Lebanon.

Several in the crowd after the speech acknowledged that Palin is key to generating enthusiasm among the GOP base.

“Since Sarah was announced as running mate more people have gotten energized,” said Kathy Fender, 51, of West Chester.

Love the size of these rallies but...will these people go vote?

Apparently it’s going to take a million formerly apathetic people to go vote and hope to overcome the fraud. ACORN has really been prepared for this one.

Any criticism of Obama will now be called “inciting the crowd.”

You watch.

I would love to hear Sarah say,

"My opponent is tied to an organization that is committing felonies so that he can get into office. Now, whether or not this criminal organization is currently being supported by Senator Obama, I would like to know why he hasn't called for an FBI investigation into ACORN. Given that they have been caught red-handed in felonious activity, why hasn't Senator Obama asked that ACORN have their federal funding temporarily suspended until the Justice Department and FBI conduct their investigations? Why should your taxpayer dollars be used to finance ACORN's felonies?"

Come on, Team McCain-Palin lurkers.

Get the word out to your superiors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think all of the people at that rallies are going to vote and they are going to vote for McCain/Palin.

The problem that the ticket is having is with the people who aren't at those rallies. Most of those people have heard the Ayers/Wright/ACORN stuff and they just don't care.

"I'm hearing of a lot of places around the state where more conservative Democrats are coming into our offices and asking to help, asking for yard signs," DeWine said. "We're going to pick up a lot of Demcoratic votes."

While not a huge fan of Mike Dewine, this quote is interesting.

But ALL Americans should care about this.

ACORN is committing FELONIES to get Obama into office, and US taxpayer dollars are being used to finance these federal crimes.

If folks are not outraged about this, then they should not have the right to vote.

I am quite confidant Sarah Palin will deliver a huge Republican turnout on Nov 4. The fact she is able to draw huge crowds to her rallies is indicative of the encouragement she has given to the Republicans.

I would find interesting a chart of the attendees at previous Vice Presidential rallies. I am certain Sarah Palin’s numbers are off the charts relative to Republican and Democrat Vice Presidential rallies for the last 100 years.

I believe the Ayers, ACORN, Wright affliations with Obama do resonate with the conservative voters. They may not be political junkies like the inhabitants at Free Republic, but they don’t like the smell of voter fraud that has been in the news and circulated through countless emails.

Just going out on a limb here, but I’d guess crowd size is the best indication of voter motivation. Much better than the special sauce added to biased media polls.

People have the right to vote because they are legal citizens. Do you seriously want to change that?

That last statement was wrong, and I shouldn't have said that.

But I am outraged that US taxpayer dollars are being used to commit felonies for the sake of Obama, and Obama isn't speaking out against it because I think he is complicit in ACORN's crimes.

I am just p!ssed that the Justice Department and FBI are not arresting these ACORN criminals.

What Mike DeWine said is happening all over the Country. There are a lot of very disgusted Hillary supporters who are voting for McCain because of the fraud against Hillary by ACORN.
