People are morons. And the vast majority of the American electorate are dumb as stumps. A Democracy cannot survive such an uninformed, ignorant electorate, which is exactly what the Democrats are counting on.

Voters like these for instance:

Preach on, Brother Boagenes!!! I have been (as some in my circle call it) ranting and raving about the fact that a stupid populace is an easily dominated populace for years. And, since we foolishly ceded the education system to the leftists, that system has produced - on the whole - a less and less educated populace. And, that’s being generous.

The ineptitude & dangerous threat of the worst public education system on record MUST be redressed...and post haste!!

If you want to insult the American people and tell people how stupid Americans are, you should find yourself a more suitable forum.

We are Americans here, sir. Please go whine about how stupid Americans are with your European brethren.

Pretty much...

As the election nears no pollster wants to be that badly off, so they fix their blatantly bad sampling numbers. If you see any poll where D’s are being sampled at a rate more than maybe 4-5 points more than republicans, every point above that, take away from the D in the results and add it to the R.

In this case, they oversampled democrats by 15% and still only showed a 2 point gain? That would suggest McCain’s up 8.. now I don’t buy that, so I suspect their is something else wrong with this poll, but clearly it indicates, if the poll is to be believed, that McCain is winning the race quite handily.

I am not worried about ACORN, I see nothing that suggest fraud is going to be any worse this year than any other year, the only difference is this year the press is paying some attention to it because 1 candidate is up to his armpits with the groups that are involved in it.

Isn’t it commonplace for the MSM to put out polls suggesting the Dem candidate is lightyears ahead when there is a month or so to go before the election, but as the date draws near they correct the skews in the polls to reflect something that more closely resembles the truth?

Absolutely. The pollster that most accurately predicts the outcome of the election a day or two before gets bragging rights and a lot of air time afterward, even though he was wildly off on all his previous polls.

Did I hear right last night during BO’s routine? He made fun of his middle name by saying “whoever gave me that name” or “the person who gave me that name” obvioulsy didn't think I'd ever run for president. Why wouldn't he say “Obviously my mother never thought I'd run for president”? Who gave him the name and when? Isn't it common for Farrakhan Muslims to take on a Muslim name when they convert?

Notice the oversampling. Someone did the math on the other thread, showing that if the sampling were even, it would be Mac 49, Zero 37

I'm getting 49-38, but that's CLOSE ENOUGH!! And this is from the AP/Yahoo??

All I can say is YAHOO!! That means it could be even more slanted than that!

If you look at the straw poll AOL has been running McCain is SMOKING NOBama 54-43%

That's on LEFT-Leaning AOL with almost a quarter million votes!! I'm surprised they haven't fixed the poll.

Well, the point is that EVEN WITH their horrendous skewing towards Democrats, McCain still is right on Obama’s heels in this poll. If you reweight for sane turnout numbers, McCain is ahead in this poll. So, the poll is still BS, but within the context of their BS polling, this is good news.

I realize that it’s fun and convenient to play a game of ‘laugh at the hypocrite’, but that isn’t what is happening here. Nobody is under any illusion that this poll reflects reality. It is simply showing MAJOR progress in our direction, in spite of its biased nature.

I’ll certainly welcome the 0bama-loss riots,
and I will rejoice in them, while praying that no one gets hurt.

The people injured, ruined, or killed due to an 0bama regime would far outweigh anything the sore losers will do.

McCain approval goes down while race tightens, AP Bizarro polling indicates.

The stratagem didn't really work then, but it sure as hell isn't working now that McCain's on the march.

Gotcha.

Thanx for the update. I'm out for a few days and I feel like I've been gone for a month.

It's like coming back to school after being out sick for a few days, and everybody in the class knows some things that you don't.

I think you heard right. Seemed like Obama was dancing around the issue of his citizenship. A strange roast with daggers flying.

Me too! They will mostly WRECK their own neighborhoods, I'm guessing. I'm in a fairly safe neighborhood, so if anything happens around me, it should be limited.

I got my guns and ammo ready in case of some stray lunatics, just in case!
