GALLUP's 'traditional' likely voter model shows Obama with a two-point advantage over McCain on Thursday, 49% to 47%, this is within poll's margin of error... Developing...
I agree. I was just quoting McCain. I think he knew from the internals that he was doing better than some of the outrageous poll had him.
I fully expect to see inner cities on fire when they lose this election.
They already are - no license, owes back taxes...
Not to mention a candidate who recently aided and abetted the slaughter of hundreds of Kenya Christians by his communist cousin in Kenya.
See THIS for details.
Good news.
However, it will be interesting if the “I don’t believe the polls!” crowd believes this one.
FWIW, Michael Barone (who I trust unflinchingly) thinks that an 8-9 pt partisan gap might not be unreasonable. He didn’t say that’s what it was, but the point is that you cannot dismiss a poll if it has these kinds of partisan ID gaps.
Does anyone know the internals of this Gallop poll? If it’s within the MOE with a large partisan ID gap, that’s very good news for McCain.
Well, if people want to burn down their own homes, cars, and neighborhoods and loot their local businesses to protest an election result they don't like I won't go out of my way to stop them.
If McCain loses I think I'll crash my pickup into my front porch and then set my deck on fire, that oughtta show everybody how mad I am.
Do these numbers match the ones that came out just after the Republican National Convention? If so, we have gained back all lost ground even with the meltdown/bailout economic crisis.
NEVER DOUBT ONE WORKING MAN CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Joe Wurzelbacher has made a difference to America and he did not have any intention to do so.
The defeatists who have been regularly posting here need to do some serious thinking about what each man or woman can do in his or her own yard.
Joe was playing football in his own yard when a neighborhood crowd gathered around Barack Obama.
Joe wandered over and asked a fairly simple question of the presidential candidate.
The unplanned answer has changed the 2008 presidential election...and the world.
At first, I thought it a bit much. Then, I came come and saw found this after a Google search.
Here is something interesting to ask the Google Libs who are in the tank for Obama.
When you type into Google "Blacks For Obama" into images, you automatically get "Blacks Against Obama" in the pictures!!!!!!!!!!
Check it out.
Blacks against obama kkk obama
Blacks against Obama" at an ...
Video: Blacks Against Obama .
... Blacks against Obama, ..
Now tell me, how does "for Obama" in a search suddenly turn into KKK pictures and such? Are the Algorithms at Google THAT screwed up - or is this deliberate?
I think you all know the answer.
Moreover, it is RACIST (I guess) for whites to support John McCain and Sarah Palin, but not RACIST if blacks support Obama?
Don't worry about the cities burning down. The federal government will spend our federal taxes to rebuild them. Nobody will be punished for the destruction of these cities either.
I have seen several other "Christians for McCain" signs here in New Jersey. Most of them have been ripped up - even those on private property.
That’s exactly right. BHO has a plan to undermine the U.S. Constitution, destroy capitalism and destroy freedom.
I’m not comfortable with betting the farm on PA. We need other opportunities and historically, NH and WI should be right up there and should be fought over fiercely. Because in all likelyhood, we are going to lose IA and NM.

What an as*hole!
That cocky, Harvard-educated, pencil-necked, racist snob is no friend of the working man.
BHO has revealed his true colors, that's for sho.
The best thing to come out of the debate is that the narrative has changed. It’s no longer about the stock market or Bill Ayers...it’s about taxes and spending and how that affects everybody. This will play heavily to McCain and they need to stick to this point every day for the rest of the campaign, and if they do, 0 will lose a point every day or 2 in the polls. They NEED to do this!
Finally they are starting to say “within the margin of error.”
Are they allowed to say that?
within the margin of error” could be deemed racist. /s
