The campaign between John McCain and Barack Obama now centers on "Joe The Plumber."
Early in Wednesday night's final debate between the two candidates, McCain brought up Joe Wurzelbacher, an Ohio plumber who approached Obama at a campaign event last Sunday, to illustrate how the Illinois senator's tax policy would hurt small businesses.
Wurzelbacher told Obama that his tax plan would prevent him from buying the plumbing business that now employs him. Obama said he plans to raise taxes on people making more than $250,000 a year while cutting taxes for everyone else.
"He wants the government to take Joe's money and give it to someone else. His hard-earned dollars. We're not going to stand for that," McCain said today at an even in Pennsylvania. "America didn't become the greatest nation on Earth by spreading the wealth. We became the greatest nation on Earth by creating new wealth."
Obama on Sunday told Wurzelbacher that he wanted to raise taxes on wealthier earners so lower-wage workers could receive a tax cut. He added, "I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."

Tax cut for people who don’t pay income taxes? Newsflash to the liars at CBS; that’s not a tax cut, that’s a welfare check.
John McCain better get out there and meet him!
Before Obama sends their mind suckers....and change his tune...I really believe they will try and “convince” Joe to change his mind!
McCain should take him on Letterman with him!!!
Then let the poor man rest in Fiji somewhere!

Waging War by CeCe Winans
Anoint my head
Anoint my feet
Send your Angels raining down
Here on the battle ground
For your glory
Were taking territory
Fighting unseen enemies
Like never before
Were Waging War
Im tired of principalities
Messing with me
(Waging War)
Im tired of the devil
Stealing from me
(Waging War)
I promise he wont get
One more thing
(Waging War)
Im taking it back
Taking territory
(Waging War)
Im ready for the battle
Im ready to win
(Waging War)
My weapon of power
He lives within
(Waging War)
I cant be defeated
The enemy has got to flee
(Waging War)
Im taking it back
Taking territory
Going into battle
Going into battle
Be my sword
Be my shield
As we claim the victory
Over the enemy
In your name
Your rule and reign
Never being defeated anymore
Were Waging War
Send your fire
Send your fire
Fire by night
Cloud by day
A strong tower
Send the latter rain
Lion of Judah
Lord, God,
Mighty in battle
Since you did it back then
We know youll do it again
Were going into battle
Were going into battle
Waging War
I can’t find it posted....but Obama is being snide that McCain wants to fight for a plumber. Smug saying a plumber does not make $250k.
The MSM and Obama are going to jump on the fact that Joe and his employer are not licensed in the County they work. I think McCain can exploit this as “wrecking a private citizen’s life” if they keep pounding Joe and his boss.
There was a young plumber named Joe,
Who asked about keeping his dough,
BO ran his mouth,
and his numbers went south,
now Barack ain’t winnin’ no mo’

I am VERY pleased the media (however reluctantly) is casting a lot of light on this issue. This, more than anything else, illustrates the stark difference between the two candidates. One wants government to run the show and redistribute wealth (and don’t think for a minute the $250k level is really the floor); while the other wants to get government on small businesses’ side by getting itself out of the way.
It’ll take a couple days to show up in the polls, but I believe this will cause some serious damage to Obama. He can’t deny saying it; it’s on video.
I’ll bet Obama wishes he could take that little comment back. HA!!
awesome, man...
Some democrat congressman on Cavuto said Joe is not the plumber’s first name.
Great job, Mac from Cleveland! From your lips to Gods ears.

Whoops, didn’t mean to send twice. My bad.
