I wonder if we’ll see any more stock market crashes as McCain’s poll numbers increase, or if Barry’s handlers are done carrying his water for him.

If McCain is behind by 5 points or less on election night, he’ll win.

Dunno. I wonder how much money Soros has left to short the market.

What the ultimate disgrace in this election is that the MSM will not report the new trends towards McCain but insist that Obama still retains a double-digit lead and his victory is inevitable, all of course supported by the punditry class. Sean Hannity is right: 2008 is the year that journalism died in America.

We need Joe the Plumber to appear on stage with Sarah all over the country. Will be worth it to see the msm all have conniption fits.

I suspect that if you increase that number from 5 to 10%, you’re comments would still be accurate.

The poll takers are fudging. They falsify their results every election, and folks still can’t get enough of their subterfuge.

I wouldn’t waste the forum’s time by posting one poll here.

If you can’t trust them, and we can’t, what’s the point?

We rise and fall by our own efforts. Polls mean nothing. Play as if it’s the bottom of the ninth inning and you trail by three.

Nothing else matters...

They’re so in the tank for Obama they will reinvent math to make him look good...

If McCain were to get 50% - they’ll still show Obama as six points up! LOL!!

My brother-in-law, a computer expert, is a polling station supervisor in a southern state, organizing and staffing the electronic voting machines. He shockingly informs me:

a. They CAN identify how any given individual voted from the voting machine tally:

b. They CAN actually remove ballots already cast!:

No offense, but Americans need to take a closer look at the Canadian voting system, and quick.

Recall that as the primaries wound down, Obama would get exactly the percentage of the vote that the polls showed him to have. Not a point more. If he was leading Hillary 48% to 40% with 12% undecided, the total would be Hillary 52%, Obama 48%.

Whether it was the Wilder effect, or ALL of the undecideds voting against Obama, he NEVER won more than the polled.

Intuitively I think that this is a fair representation of where we are now. From here on in it will be a slow, progressive slog as we creep forward and consolidate, creep forward and consolidate.

This is where those high-paid advisors and pollsters in the McCain camp earn their money.

Well, there is only one thing for the MSM/pollsters to do; reweigh the ratio of Dems to Republicans from a 4 / 3 ratio to a 5 / 3 ratio.
