McCain: I would rather "lose" the election than..........

I heard on our local Tampa radio station this morning 970 Radio:

According to a political analyst, McCain would rather "lose" the election than conduct a dishonorable campaign.

If this is true, than many of us regret sending a contribution to McCain.

This reminds me of a boxer fighting in the last round needing a KNOCKOUT to win the fight. Instead he jabs and dances.

It's better to go down in flames with honor, according to McCain.

After tonight, you’ll pretty much know where McCain is taking you. One way or another.

But McCain says Obama is a fine decent man and you have nothing to be scared of with him as president. So you are way out of step with the campaign.

McCain says you shouldn't be scared of Obama. Yet people doubt that he would make that remark about honor and losing. Go figure.

We let him appoint conservative judges, cut spending, cut taxes, win our wars, make us energy independent, put corrupt politicians in jail, balance the budget, pay off the national debt, and then we elect Palin in 2012 to finish the job.

Or we lose EVERYTHING to Obama, Pelose, Reid, and the new activist supreme court. Not to mention they may have enough seats to impeach every single justice on the supreme court right now.

At this point, no one is helping Obama more than McCain.

Explain to me how bashing McCain at this point benefits anyone but Obama? If you're bashing McCain at this late stage, I must assume you're either 1.) stupid or 2.) an Obama supporting troll.

SHOW A LITTLE BACKBONE? why not tell that to McCain? There is absolutely no reason to doubt that McCain said something like the alleged remark. His behavior more than illustrates that. Many of you folks have gotten out of step with the campaign. McCain says you have no reason to be scared of Obama as president. He's a fine decent family man. These sentiments should be reflected in your posts if you want to be o he same page as McCain.

What about the crap McCain spewed to his supporters on Saturday about how we should not be scared of Obama being president and how he was a fine decent man? Yes I’ll vote for Palin. But I will not remain silent about McCain. He is NOT on our side. And unless he has a great epiphany before tonight, he’ll lead the party to defeat and the country to ruin. If this was a military operation, he would already have been relieved of command. He’s worse than a McClellan.

McCain’s “taxpayer funded farewell tour.” He seems to think that calling the Rev. Wright a racist would be racist.

I didn’t contribute to McCain but sent a contributiuon to the RNC - I hope they can protect some Senate and House seats.

Well McCain has betrayed his GOP colleagues over the years. He has attacked his supporters. The fact that Lieberman is his best bud speaks volumes about McCain's loyalty to conservatives.

And you might want to rephrase that remark about him being "the only man who has fought for this country". Unless, in order to make some political point, you actually intend to demean all those who have served and died for this country. I don't want Obama anymore than you do. But I'm not going in with my eyes closed.

You're kidding, right? It doesn't matter that the “debate” hasn't happened yet. The script has already been written. Obama won McCain lost. If McCain shows anything but a pulse, the script will describe him as desperate...almost out of control.

A conspiracy? Posting on a discussion board is so important that someone plans to do it 4 years out? Does anyone really have that much time on their hands?

Just listen to yourself. “enemies within” “shut them down”. I don't see anyone hear rooting for Obama. And to claim that is just not true.

Explain to me how McCain disrespecting supporters and telling them they should not fear Obama as president is not the action of a stupid man or an Obama troll. You're the one who is out of step with the McCain campaign.

They aren't my words. They're the words of one of your fellow cheerleaders being sent back. If you're going to comment, at least read the post and know what you're talking about. It's obvious you want anyone who won't accept your line to be silenced or as you put it “shut down”.
