It reminds me of the Warner Brothers cartoon of the boxing match between Elmer Fudd and Daffy Duck.............

Obama spoke at the Daily Kos convention. Anyone reading Kos knows that it’s filled on a daily basis with rhetoric about McCain, Palin, Bush, and Cheney that makes any generic shout of “traitor” against Obama appear downright gentle. Did the media accuse Obama of inciting hate by speaking to a group whose followers routinely describe the above-mentioned Republicans as terrorists, murderers, whores, and pigs, amidst a flurry of obscenities? Nope!

There's no contest as to which party has more rage and hatred in their persons on a daily basis. A serious sociological study would address this once and for all if it were to get mass attention. My hypothesis is that more Dems than any other affiliation were children of difficult family situations growing up that produces an unusual amount of anger and drive to mow down the opposition at all costs, whether in sports or at the ballot box. Republicans and conservatives win on ability alone. Many of those at McCain's rallies were plants, plain and simple. While his rallies are open to all, Obama’s are seriously orchestrated to allow Dems only to give a perfect, calculated impression of total agreement. No need to buy the Kool Aid.

The left is agitating and fomenting riots, not the right. Good men will take only so much abuse before ending the abuse. Evil always brings loss, but less when stopped sooner.

I know of many (me included) who won’t put McCain/Palin signs in the front yard or even on a bumper sticker for fear of vandalism... or worse. I only fear one side of the political spectrum.
I engage in ready conversation with anyone who will listen and work to change minds one at a time. I don’t need to self-identify as a target for the addle-brained.
I will do my demonstrating on 11/4.

The local GOP office had a big Black woman come into the office (while ACORN was working the county), saying that she had been a Democrat all her life but wanted to change her registration to Republican because a Black man should never be president. I didn’t hear her, but I was told that she went on and on about how bad Black men were. It was obvious that she was baiting the workers, trying to get some kind of quote to take back with her. She probably didn’t even live in the county.
