This is in contrast to the "big gun" rally on Sunday with Hillary, Biden, Bill, etc. that had 3000 people in the same venue IN BIDEN'S HOMETOWN!!!!
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Did you all hear her on Rush today? Rush asked her if she is free to speak on her own and she never really answered his question. Good interview though, she is definitely what this country needs.
"her mean-spirited love of slaughtering wildlife"
I’m at work, so I’ll have to wait until the podcast is out to listen. Her lack of response pretty much answered the question.
Yeah his HOMETOWN where he lived until he was 10 years old.
I think that was still listing what was in the CBS report of Oct 8, and should have been italicized as well.
“Joe Biden is from Scranton” is the same as “John Kerry fought in Vietnam”.
Wow! Palin draws 3 to 4 times more blue collar Pensylvanians on a weekday than Binden/Clinton could raw on a weekend - in Biden’s home town.
Something tells me a lot of people will be surprised on Nov. 4.
Real good crowd, especially since it’s a tuesday in a working class community.
It sounded like they lost the connection.
The campaign’s schedule from here: there were 2 PA events today, 3 NH events plus the debate in NY tomorrow, a stop in ME on 10/16, a PA stop on 10/16, and an NC stop on 10/16. They go to IN on 10/17.
They’re spending an awful lot of time in PA. I’d have to believe that their internal polling is telling a different story than the public polls, or else they wouldn’t be bothering with a blue state so much where they’re supposedly down double digits.
Scranton is Hillary Country, NOT Biden Country.
If the polls are cooked (as they usually are), and PA becomes a swing state, the election could very well hinge on Scranton/Northeast PA.
Many faithful Dems in this area have said they would vote McCain/Palin; Obama is NOT going over big in this area - not at all.
BINGO!
See post 13.
Traditionally, all of Pennsylvania is red, except for Philth-adelphia, Pittsburgh, and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (and maybe Erie; I’m not sure). These areas have such a large population density, that they overpower the rest of the state.
This is puzzled in Queens, New York: Okay, let me get this straight, they are doing poorly with the American Public, yet throngs of people want to see them and some have been turned away????? This simply does not add up, help!!!!!/Just Asking - seoul62......
I don’t think it’s any big crime if Palin is being reined in by McCain a bit. Granted, I want to see her go after the Dems in every speech with a knife in her teeth, but the bottom line is McCain is the boss. It’s his campaign, he picked her and he’ll be the one the buck stops with if he gets elected.
That said...Let not your heart be troubled. Besides, she probably just didn’t want to say a flat out “yes” lest some leaked email where she was asked to make some change make her look untruthful. And really, if she wasn’t free to speak her mind we wouldn’t have heard her criticize the decision to pull out of Michigan.
It's confusing for us foreigners. Here, in Canada, Red is the Liberal party colour. Orange for the socialists, Green for the Greens (duh).
I'll say one thing for red — the colour looks great on a lot of women. Conservatives may have at least won the prize for fashion.
