It's confusing for us foreigners. Here, in Canada, Red is the Liberal party colour. Orange for the socialists, Green for the Greens (duh).
I'll say one thing for red — the colour looks great on a lot of women. Conservatives may have at least won the prize for fashion.
Red has always been the color of the left. It was all changed in November 2000 by a graphic artist for USA Today who decided to color Bush states in red.
I say we go back to the old way. Red = left.
