Absolutely correct.

It's confusing for us foreigners. Here, in Canada, Red is the Liberal party colour. Orange for the socialists, Green for the Greens (duh).

I'll say one thing for red — the colour looks great on a lot of women. Conservatives may have at least won the prize for fashion.

That’s because we don’t have to feel funny comparing ourselves with the color red. The Dems do not want to be painted with that color. We are secure in the knowledge that America will never confuse the Republican party with the party of communists.

Red is also one of the colors of the American flag, and of the blood we’ve shed to be free.
