Dead people. Fake people. Cartoon characters.
Now, it looks like Obama supporters are going after unsuspecting credit card fraud victims, too. Better check your Visa and Amex bills twice:
A North Kansas City couple has been left scratching their heads after they became the victims of a political scam.
Steve and Rachel Larman say a strange credit card charge appeared on their statement this month a $2300 donation to Barack Obamas presidential campaign. The Larmans say they dont want this to be about their political affiliation, but they say theyre not about to give the Obama campaign any help from their pocketbook.
They said they notified Chase, their credit card bank, to report the fraud.
(They) said that they had seen-they were familiar with this, said Steve Larman. It was fraud, they believe through telemarketing but they were going to be doing some more investigations.
The Larmans dont want their politics to enter into what is essentially just a fraudulent charge. But they say that the charge involves the Obama campaign adds insult to injury for the registered Republicans.
They (Chase) kept on asking me are you sure you wouldnt have gone to a site in support of Obama, said Rachel Larman. And I repeatedly said Im voting for McCain - I would not be going to an Obama site.
Chase dropped the charge from the Larmans card. The couple is thankful thay they caught the charge on the card, but worried that others may not see that type of fraud on their own credit cards before its too late.
Bush is working behind the scenes. Keeping a low profile so McCain can run as his own man. I believe he is looking in to this...look what happened in OHIO...stuff got done!!
You want the Attorney General of the United States, in conjunction with the POTUS, to get involved in a N. Kansas City fraud case? Okey doke.
WOW, now the man is actually stealing money from people’s credit cards. Will this man go any lower to finance his future in the WH?
This infuriates me. It’s not the first time I’ve seen it happen with Obama. I think I remember a case back in the primaries. Dems just have much lower standards. The McCain camp would no doubt pay it back to the bank, but I doubt Obama would.
Fraud appears to be the common theme in the Obama campaign and in his life.
Then in that case I wonder if it would just be best to contact the Obama camp directly and tell them to return the money. If they didn't for some reason take it to the media (Fox, Drudge, Rush) and then the bank and FBI.
So, do they appear on his donor list? hmmmm.
I got a similar interrogation when fraudulent charges from Network Solutions, Inc., appeared on my bill. They kept suggesting that it was my mistake, that I had clicked something online authorizing a charge to my credit card.
Just spreading the wealth already.
With less than a month left, the campaign could use millions in stolen charges because many people won’t see their bill until after the election.
Sounds like a pretty vanilla case of credit card fraud. Wake me when it’s more than an isolated case.
bump
*snicker*
Well they should just be more understanding. The ACORN credit union people get paid by the amount of names they collect.
Bump Dat!!!
Unbelievable. I can’t stand the left in this country.
I second that . Time to round up and arrest these leftist frauds, nationwide.
Chase is a major donor for Obama.
That is something that is not carefully considered in this case.
