We'll just spread it around a bit. That won't hurt too much, will it?

Everyone is LISTENING that’s the problem! People have been taught in leftist run schools that socialism is COOL! It’s not as if people are being fooled. Those voting for Obama WANT SOCIALISM!

See, Obama is the guy who will finally make it work because he’s been trained by the right kind of people.

I made this point to a 50 year old school teacher last night. She responded that she darn well knew Obama is a socialist and that is precisely why she supported him. She admitted to being a socialist that wants to destroy the constitution.

They don’t even bother hiding it any more. I found a good yard sign, but I don’t think it would make much difference in my neck of the woods. (Obama/Marx 08)

(No, I am not pushing a site I own, I just thought this sign is pretty good.)

This is the issue that Sarah and the old codger should be hammering on every day. If McCain was really interested in winning the Presidency, he’d slap Obama upside the head with this example in tomorrow night’s last debate and never let up. How I wish he’d just send Sarah in to debate for him. He just doesn’t have it in him for fear he may offend someone.

Some of the scariest words I’ve ever read on USENET, when I posted that the U.S. was heading toward socialism if Ubie gets elected (not verbatim):

“So what? Socialism just means that everyone, not just the rich Repuglicans, has money they need to have a good life and any medical care they need (via a free national health program) and then all those rich people won’t be able to hoard all the money while the poor people and middle class have to pay for everything with their taxes, what’s wrong with that? It’s all win-win to me!”

:-O
God help us all!!! These ignorant people have NO idea all the freedoms they will lose if that happens—they seem to think everyone will get a free ride no matter what—and somebody ELSE out there in the ether can pay for it! Yikes!!

My poor liberal daughter out in Washington [state] believes socialism would be a good thing. She emphasizes that does not mean “communism” but socialism. Our kids sent through the liberal colleges and unversities have been brain-trashed [not brainwashed].

We can’t say that Obama is a terrorist.

But we CAN say Obama is RECKLESS SPENDER when he handles OTHER people’s money.

Obama has MISSPENT millions of dollars in ways that harm Americans.

Obama has helped-

Acorn screw voters and banks
Rezko build slums
the racists Wright and Pfleger continue with their activities
Fannie Mae rob us
third parties indoctrinate Chicago public school children

Hey BIG SPENDER, what are your plans when you get your hands on the Federal Budget?

First of all I can’t belive that Obama is actually considered ready for the presidency. And I don’t want him in there. But I also don’t want the IRS and the Federal Reserve to continue to exist. And since I live in NY where Obama can only lose if the democrat majority votes for McCain I intend to vote for a real change: following the Constitution and getting the Federal Government out of everybody’s pockets. The Constitution Party is a start. They now have Ron Paul’s support. We have to get out of the Empire Business. Can you explain why we still need troups in Germany 60 years after WWII?

Who will Obama pick to head up the FBI, Homeland Security, the IRS and other federal agencies that will be used against the people who complain about his political agendas? ...I ask because it has occurred to me that this smug thug will give us more to worry about than his Socialism. We might be looking at the last free election ever to be held in the United States. Four years from now, unemployment will be in the double digits. Interest rates will go through the roof, as will inflation. There will be fuel shortages, food shortages and government takeovers of businesses as the US is transformed into a Third World, socialist paradise of confused, angry and desperate people. But, that won’t be the worst of it. Think what will happen with our immigration laws, our military, freedom of speech, our 2nd Amendment. The smug thug is going to show us that nationalized heathcare is the least of our worries.

"It's not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance for success too," Obama responded.

My definition of success is doing something that works. Obama apparently defines 'success' as someone giving you money.

“It’s not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they’ve got a chance for success too,” Obama responded. “My attitude is that if the economy’s good for folks from the bottom up, it’s gonna be good for everybody ... I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”

Will the real Obama please stand up?.......Holy crap folks! Get ready for Jimmy Carter times 10!......

How Long Do We Have?

About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh , had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years earlier:

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government."

"A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury."

"From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."

"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years"

"During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:

1. From bondage to spiritual faith;

2. From spiritual faith to great courage;

3. From courage to liberty;

4. From liberty to abundance;

5. From abundance to complacency;

6. From complacency to apathy;

7. From apathy to dependence;

8. From dependence back into bondage"

There's a reason no one is listening.

It is true that the rising tide of GDP growth raises all boats, the problem is that the current structure of our workforce has only half the boats IN THE WATER.

Federal, state, and municipal employees are not in the private sector. Social workers and other government bureaucrats, seniors on social security, trial lawyers, teachers and others in education also do not perceive their bread to be buttered by the private sector. Then we have those IN the private sector who PAY NO INCOME TAXES, and who likely see anyone who does as the enemy. These people see the public sector as their benefactor, not the economy. Then there are students who vote, but have not entered the workforce, who listen to commencement speeches exhorting them to "public service", as if the private sector is something to avoid.

Is it any wonder they don't care about the stock market, ignore good economic news, and in general are oblivious to the fact their vote may kill the goose that laid the golden egg? There are many, many public sector employees who will vote conservative, and KNOW where wealth ultimately comes from, but for too many in the above groupings, prosperity through an advancing economy is something that happens to everyone but them, and they will elect Barack Obama on Nov. 5.

Redistributing the "wealth" is a classic tenant of Marxist philosophy. (Emphasis added)

No, Bobby, it's a tenet of Marxist philosophy.

A tenant rents an apartment; a tenet is a principle or doctrine.
